A1 Always let pieces dry for a long time and do a nice loooong preheat. Bubbles don't make things blow up - moisture does!

A1: I've been firing dry work to about 150 degrees, then turn it off and let it sit overnight... then fire the next day. Works!

a1. when candling, you can pull out the plug and hold a mirror up to the hole to chk 4 steam. mirror all clear=good 2 go

if you r firing a bisque with low-fire glaze at the same time, donot put on same shelf. in fact, put glaze up higher in case.

The bisque wont stick but you can actually fire a bisque & low fire glazed pieces at same time as long as dont let them touch.

A3: it is ok to mess up. Itās easier to start over to make it right the 2nd, 3rd or 4th time. Practice only makes it better.

A4: give the project 2-3 coats of the same color. Of course I have a few that will do the 2 coats of different colors.
