A1 I believe a coaching one with @jimknight99 such a model of instructional practices in action Immediately changed how I work with T. Also a lot of really great learning from twitter/voxer #ohedchat#momsasprincipals
We are doing a book study with staff this year (voluntary) and we are conducting the discussions through a twitter chat. I was BLOWN AWAY after our first week! #ohedchat
That was actually part of what we voted on too and the twitter chat won out. . . Haven't given up my @voxer dreams for a future study though! #ohedchat

A2 B/C we still cover material oppose to teach material to our adults under the claim of "not enough time." & every PD session provides an opportunity for educators to learn how to better teach S #ohedchat
We did several twitter chats during building PD to help staff create accounts, learn the culture of chats, and then we moved from there. Also did other things to really encourage them getting on twitter & feeling safe #ohedchat

Fun! I like the QR twist on it! We did a twitter scavenger hunt this year - staff had to model in pics/video the different areas of our school wide #pbis expectations LOVED IT! #ohedchat

A3 For every "PD Day" we send out a survey - what are you passionate about and would like to share with your colleagues & what would you like to learn about from others. We look for overlaps and then Ts choose! #ohedchat
I LOVE how I see staff interacting online who I never see crossing paths in person. Also how I can see the thoughts of all staff and go back and reflect on the chat. For those (2) who still 'aren't there" they "tweet" on notecards #ohedchat

After our T sessions, I ask them to include a "slide" Tweet it out -- something you've learned - could be new strategy, technique, personal connection. Really just looking to have people feel comfortable with twitter professionally #ohedchat

Yes, but some were definitely cautious. I made it possible for those to go in slowly. I projected my tweetdeck and then had them still respond to Q and the A of others on notecards. Can't opt out, just differentiating if you will #ohedchat

A4 I try not to have staff meetings. Typically the information in these "meetings" can be shared through weekly staff newsletter. Our moments together are precious and few - we can't spend it all on nuts and bolts #ohedchat
I think we should also feel a sense of obligation for the learning of our colleagues too! If we are keeping our greatness to ourselves only, then we are shortchanging the other educators we work with and ultimately our students #ohedchat
Something new in the "chat world" Three different chat venues looking at different perspectives of the same topic. Join one or join all three. #ohedchat
A6 Continue focusing on the importance of T voice in the PD process. Value their professionalism and their understanding for things they need. Continue enocuraging T to serve as leaders through PD for others #ohedchat
