    Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster is one of abso faves! They do alot of charitable work and are considered one of the gentler of Wildlife Parks because of all their conservation work. The last time we went we had a lovely view of their polar bear! ^Aziza #asechat

    Also we aren't too far from Magna which is just fab for everyone in the family, lots to do and explore. It's a science focused activity type centre. Worth checking out - most schools go there for a school trip at one point or another. ^Aziza #asechat

    I enjoyed visiting the Savannah Science Museum. They have exhibits and hands-on activities. There is also a planetarium located at the museum, which was nice. #ASEChat #EDU3161

    Weve also been to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. They have a lot of workshops over the holidays so you need a good part of the day to get around to everything. #asechat

    We also recently visited the National Coal Mining Museum and was fascinating. You can travel down in to an actual mine pit for a detailed talk. Our guide was one of the final remaining original miners (he was very old), he was truly fascinating! #asechat

    Or another mining suggestion is Northern Swaledale around Muker to see the devastation caused by mineral mining in the past. Adds real interest to some high level moorland walking, then compare with farming impact in the valleys on way back #asechat
