A2 create creative possibility by providing choice. Choice of materials, scale and collaborative opportunities. Creative collaborations have done more to change and shape the world than perhaps any other practice. #CreateEdu
A2 intentional creative opportunities in my classroom look like lessons that aren’t just about a material or technique. We dive into memories, emotions, ideas, social issues and S design responses to learning goals have personal meaning. #CreateEdu

A2: I intentionally create creative opportunities by allowing students to give voice to how they want to tackle our art projects...I’ll give the foundations and basic concept but I leave it to them to “kick it up a notch” #CreateEDU

A3: working with elementary age many of my lessons stem from a book with an underlying message...my goal is that learners are able to embrace that message and express it in their own unique way #CreateEDU

A3 #FineArt2 studying drapery/fabric: discuss why it’s been important throughout art, practice creating it w different media, then Ss designed their own drapery/fabric focused work using material of their choice. We covered an important topic but made it personal. #CreateEdu

A3 In US History I like to insert a lesson about the role of the Arts during that era ... gives kids a time to explore the artists and express their learning through music. Dance, song, painting, words, theater #CreateEDU

A4: I could infuse more voice and choice in the younger grades (kindergarten primarily)..basic skills need to be taught at that age but trying to figure out how to let them have a bit more options without fearing potential art room chaos would be ART-rageous in my eyes #CreateEDU

In my tech classes (FabLab/TV) the kids have many options ... I help them learn the software but much of what they make/create is driven by them ... what do they want to make #CreateEDU
