    A1:I think the big thing that's a consistent win in my classroom is the goal for every kid to see and become a hero. We start off with a dinner to honor heroes in their lives, and then I give them the power to do service learning and take on problems in the community. #waledchat

    A1: Every few months I host an open Mike night for our school’s a local BBQ restaurant. Families & friends come out to watch students perform and we get a cut from that night’s take which goes towards the school... fun times!!! #waledchat

    A1: When I taught science, Rube Goldberg machines were my jam! We made ones that connected all over the classroom. In my new role, presentations that involve some sort of gamification increase T engagement and allow a little stress relief during PD. #waledchat

    A1: Im a first year teacher, but one lesson that I loved and know that I will do again was my toothpaste lesson during the first week. A lesson to show how easy it is to say something harmful (squeezing the bottle), but hard to take back (putting the toothpaste back). #waledchat
