A good tagline can make such a difference in school culture and #branding . Mission statements are great, but your tagline is something everyone can remember, staff, student, parents alike. How often do you publicize it? #PersonalizedPD

#PersonalizedPD A1 The students and who they are as individuals. This includes academically and personally. Everything we do is for them.Therefore, bettering ourselves to lift up our students is also of the utmost importance.

A2: my #personalizedPD goals are focused on learning how I can be better prepared to help Ss navigate their educational experience and personalize learning to meet their needs
A2 Twitter was a key goal last year, both for me and using it as a district. Our district tag #peqpantherpride has been immensely successful, and I'm chatting tonight so... so far so good! #personalizedPD
A2: A personalized goal for this year which is to advance my own personal knowledge through readings and professional conversations that I did not have time / make time for in the past. Excited to take part in more learning! #personalizedpd

A2: As a coach, my #personalizedPD goals are to help the Ts I'm supporting to learn from each other and grow w/their own goals they have set. Trying to not overwhelm w/too many new things!
A2: I try to spend at least 30 min or so trying to learn something new every day. Sometimes my schedule makes it be 2.5 hours of learning on a Fri, but I always try to find ways to get the time in. #PersonalizedPD
A2: I look forward to attending edcamps this year and providing professional development for school districts. Having the opportunity to collaborate with other schools would be awesome. #personalizedpd

A3 As a techie concerned about security I've been reaching out to agencies like DHS and FBI for training and assistance which has been great. If you want to be scared they are the ones to talk to! And my PLN on Twitter, OC. #PersonalizedPD
A3: Twitter is awesome for PD and I have also utilized Linkedin a bit. Personally, reading "Lead Like A Pirate" which was recommended by @RichHayzler. Book Talk upcoming! #personalizedPD
I had to ask because being away from the States one starts forgetting all the acronyms. There isn’t the same love affair with acronyms in other countries. Thank goodness. #personalizedPD

A3: @jleeTechPercent does a great podcast with educators via @METCedplus. TedTalks always get me there too. The Podcasts are distracting me from how much I dislike walking in cold weather. #PersonalizedPD

A4: I’ve been creating short one hour mini PD courses that are self paced online trainings to try to reach Ts in a different way. Only a few months in, but I hope it continues to grow. #PersonalizedPD
I love this idea. I would love for our staff to get to this point. I am still plugging twitter as a great resource for them. I am hoping to be able to lead a PD soon. #PersonalizedPD
Jeff- #Kaizena is a great tool. I also take pictures of my students work and put them in the background of a Doceri project & then make audio and written comments on them. Email back. #personalizedPD

A5: My FAV story this year: VETERAN teacher asks me to take pics of his CSI class. We get pics and later he tells me he thought my idea to post student learning in action DUMBEST idea he had ever heard. But he said it was about the kids, not him... #personalizedpd

Yes, it absolutely helps to have varying levels of time and rigor available. I'd be thrilled if I could get 5 good minutes a day 5 days a week out of some staff members and they'd get more out of it I think! #personalizedpd

A7: Most teachers I have ever worked with WANT to get better and most know what they need to work on. #personalizedpd gives them the opportunity to get what they need.Even if they don't know what they need, it can be tailored to their needs.
A7 Choice. Choice increases chance that you are interested in what you are choosing for PD. You're more likely to be engaged and benefit as a result. It's all about choice. #personalizedPD
A7: Personal growth can happen at any time when you personalize you PD. Learning is at your fingertips. All you have to do is take a chance, be ready to collaborate and don't hesitate to share ideas! #personalizedpd
