A1: Our school has so many new initiatives like 1:1 iPads through Verizon and we also became a New Tech school. These have really allowed me to be creative with my teaching and explore new strategies #TOSAchat
Oh man. That would be challenging. When my boy was 4 month old, we took a trip from the SF Bay Area to Anaheim for a half marathon. That was a rough drive. #tosachat

A2: Just the constant whirlwind of admin haha. Since I’m always behind a computer for work, Spring Break always affords an opportunity to get outside to do some more physical activities like hiking and working around the yard. #TOSAchat

A3: Literally, I have been feverishly cleaning out all the Untitled Documents from Google Drive. Metaphorically, I have been fortunate to eliminate some of the demons in my personal life that have been holding me back spiritually as well as financially. #TOSAchat

It was tough, but I tossed & gave away pretty much everything when I left the classroom 3 years ago. Saved a box of my very favorite picture books, but otherwise, figured that things changing so quickly now that if I went I’d do things differently anyway. #tosachat

A4: Dreaming: My Ss cook lunch for the school 1 time a month for "math": budgeting, time lines, shopping, recipes. We don't use a cafeteria. Next year possibly. #tosachat

A4..we are working on automatas now which I was nervous to start bc of the logistics of storing 100 automatas and materials while the students build..I dove in because they’re SO COOL & great learning/tinkering experiences for Ss and figure the rest will work itself out #tosachat

A5: It’s always good to start talking things out and brainstorm goals of the project. Nothing beats a shared google doc while you’re chatting so you can start adding resources and hash out a plan. Always helps to have a partner or partners in crime #TOSAchat

This is great! It does seem easier to help others than solve my own sometimes but that different perspective helps. By helping others you build the relationships and connections so others can bring their perspectives to your challenges #tosachat

They have a rubric in 3-5 and can choose anything that meets that criteria. In k-2 they are programming an animated story about anything they want. #tosachat
