A1: Whats my next step professionally? I have zero interest in becoming a principal - but I am intrigued by training teachers, especially with unit/lesson design.. but not curriculum design, more of the creative side of it.. or maybe English PhD? (See?) #Prodriven
Ss-been SBG myself for 4 years. Coworker getting admin license used it as a project and district is going with it. Focusing on HS and MS. Me-used #pbl (problem and project), test, case study, student choice this semester. Great results #ProDriven
A2: I am lucky to have a bunch of awesome coaches to PLC with. We are supportive of each other and help each other grow. Each bldg is different, so we are able to put our heads together and help everyone in our group. #prodriven
A2: My PLN encouraged me to begin to present more, to write more, and to mentor more. Each has helped me grow in ways I wouldn't have predicted just a few short years ago. #prodriven
A2: at school I’m the only art teacher so there is no one to bounce my ideas and needs off of but this Twitter #PLN has been an absolute blessing giving me cheerleaders mentors support new ideas and a platform to use my voice #ProDriven
I am a high school instructional coach. I am in a single bldg and am in classrooms all the time. It fills my bucket so to speak and I am training Ts daily. #prodriven
All the ideas (it’s why I am using different assessments with each unit). Seeing what some of the awesome educators are using. Helping support others through chats and connections. #ProDriven
I have been in Districts where teachers in a low incidence subject traveled, on a rotating basis, to one location so they could have a PLC meeting. #ProDriven
I do. I try to stay in the classrooms modeling new strategies. Tomorrow I am modeling AVID reading strategies in study skills and teaching health insruance in finance. #prodriven
A3: Well, I did get to have drinks with tonight's esteemed moderator! I think our PLN is really good at lifting each other up, promoting each other's work, and sharing everything we have with each other. #prodriven
Q3: My PLCs push me to think and continue to innovate to grow with them and on my own. One of my fellow coaches helped me to create a coaching cycle student based goal sign up for my Ts. #prodriven
Ah, now I understand! We stopped that model of PLCs being held where 'special' teachers covered for joint PLC meeting teachers for this very reason. We created a complex schedule during our early release Wed. so everyone without a classroom rotated into gr. level PLCs #ProDriven
Q3: I read all the time about Ts who become leaders outside of the classroom, presenters who travel the country, and/or respected college professors in their fields... I’m 31, and my journey is definitely one or all of these. Guidance/networking help anyone? #Prodriven

A3: well this #PLN pushes every to try things I never thought I’d do in my life...it’s given me courage and it may be composed of virtual connections but they are some of the most special I’ve had...I’ve found a tribe and am sailing in a fleet 😊#ProDriven
A4: Right now our PLCs are focusing on unpacking standards and creating plans for reaching mastery. I work with many departments and they all enlighten me! #prodriven
A4: We're working on #SEL and adapting to a new special education program in our building. I'm proud of how hard my teachers are working on the latter. It's a shift, for sure, but a necessary one. #prodriven
A4: I also am focusing on rewriting our district instructional playbook with my coaches PLC and analyzing instruction in our district. #prodriven. Has me looking deeper into Hattie's research.

I went to a PLC conference last month and one of their norms was to focus on data and strategies to improve student learning. LOVED that as a Norm! #prodriven
We are doing a similar one right now, SBG. While what we are writing is different, the outcome will be the same. Rigid learning with a more flexible timeframe. We work together. When it’s different we are more isolated. #ProDriven
A5: My personal journey is trauma-informed/trauma-responsive. Our impact would be so huge if everyone bought in. Children would feel loved, understood, and empowered! #prodriven

A5: Unfortunately, I do believe a lot of PLCs are very ego-driven, and you rarely find helpful members (unless they’re on twitter). I just scroll through all the time and see TPT teachers who want one thing - and collaboration isn’t it. #Prodriven
When data becomes the focus of discussion it tends to help the move for learning over the complaining that sometimes happens. I challenge ppl sometimes," so what data are we looking at today? " #prodriven
Unfortunately, I don’t have a blog as of yet. I’m honestly worried about my thoughts offending others and placing my young self in hot water... even though my intent is to NOT garner arguments, we live in a trigger world - even in education! #Prodriven
