Hi #flipclass! English/Drama, Used to teach 1st-3rd grade in HK, this is my first time here (found out about twitter chats 20 mins ago!) And Bryce Dallas Howard https://t.co/igNKXbGaE1
It's going to depend on how difficult it is to match the content of the video to the level and objective of the lesson. It has gotten easier over the years. #flipclass folks are great at sharing. #flipclasschat
Tech: @edpuzzle lets you see who has watched the video and how many times they've watched each part
Non-tech: Check out the notes they took
If they're not watching, have devices in the room. Need to watch before they can move on.

Depending on the topic and Ss, they may already know the information or get it elsewhere. If that is so, they can answer the quick knowledge check, participate and move on. #flipclass
With my classes, it's to the Ss benefit to have to videos/notes accomplished before they come to class so they have more time to ask questions on the "hard stuff." If they have to use time to watch the video then that means less time to get help #flipclass#flipclasschat

I think it took 3 yrs before I got to the OK but could be better stage for my #flipclass physics. Even with an imperfect start it was still better for most of the Ss. #flipclasschat

This tweet make me think we should make some sort of rubric or timescale of #flipclass success.
"OK but could be better" would be one level somewhere in the middle

A2: I agree with @MrsStephenson3, when I heard that I could spend more time working directly with my Ss instead of just lecturing, I was in 100% #flipclass#flipclasschat
I am actually making a strategy implementation guide for #flipclass for some teachers I am working with! I will share when I finish it! #flipclasschat — it will help me give them feedback to make their next decisions
A3.1: It's always a goal of mine to find/develop more (and better) activities to make sure the in class time is as productive as possible #flipclass#flipclasschat
A3.2: I've been thinking of moving towards mastery learning for a while now, but I have yet to jump in. Maybe next year is the year #flipclass#flipclasschat
