Hey Karen! Everything is really good - getting ready to learn a bunch tomorrow at our NJ AT Summit. Follow all the learning at #AT4NJ Everyone from #Atchat can join the convo
One thing I want to mention tonight - loving how Bookshare has finally made use of their resource much easier for educators. The Educators Get Started Guide is a great guide for teams. https://t.co/T0kkLEchZw What have others found that they love using this year? #ATchat
This is great! I still have educators who are leery to use Bookshare because they still remember back in the day when they had to download and then "unzip" files - was so confusing for some!
And have you seen the new "Special Collections" feature? Over 300 collections that can be assigned to students so they have their own personal library to check out customized for them? https://t.co/48dlkHK93h#ATchat
I have it on my phone. Playing with he screen time feature- especially limiting time and apps. Tweeting in my iPad which hasn’t been updated yet! #ATChat
How is everyone's schedule thus far in the school year? We are only a few weeks in and have been deluged with consult/coaching and evaluation requests. Still trying to work myself out of a job and have never been busier! #ATchat
Yes I actaully ahve ahd it since the public beta cam out in June. There are some great new fatures that culd count as AT. Password Atofill , Siri shprtcuts and upf\dates to do not disturb are great additions. Password autofill #atchat
passowrd autofill allws users to either easiy access passwords on the icloud keychain or from their faviorate passowrd manager app instead of having to remeber the passowrd. Havn'yt yet played arounf woth siri shortcuts . #atchat
Same here, but am excited as the work is shifting and integrative of #UDL. More folks are eager to learn and see the value. Learners are investigating the value and constructing their understanding. Love this work! #ATChat
Wondering if anyone has a good list of PreK level apps for Google play? I work in an all apple environment, but I have a family asking for recs. #ATchat
Hey #Atchat my ? is how are you all handling implementation plans...do you write formal ones or include in IEP? I'm writing them for students I fully evaluate and uploading to our online IEP system but there must be a better way....

@mmatp Have you found ways to incorporate your Rasp Pi work? Just took mine out today- wouldn't connect at school. My little sd card is broken... ordered a new one. What AT stuff have your tried with it? #ATchat
It's gone quite well. We've had these over the course of the last school year. Focus was #AT for individuals who are #deaf or #HoH and/or #blind / #lowvision. Good time! Great guests. Lots of lols. #atchat
@bcdtech tweeted this earlier. I work with a student who is autistic and LOVES bubbles. Would love to get someone to make this for this student's class. Anyone working with students who are "purpose makers?" #ATchat
Hmmm It was OK, but not best ever. Assumed you knew python, very little time on scratch or block stuff. Too much too fast. I loved the maker collective bootcamp- Hope to go back! #atchathttps://t.co/xJ5HEVflWu
A couple things. It was a topic I knew nothing about so everything was new and exciting. It was tons of hands on learning which I love. And we got to build something at the end. We worked on an automatic page turner. We didn't get it to work but we were close @mdroush#Atchat

Different learners, right! I do OK with rapid topic changes and moving quickly thru stuff. The trick was to continue to find time to work on it after the training #Atchat

I'm deep in ensuring future educators and clinicians know enough about #AT to be the person at the table to ask the question. I am also building a lot of presentations to connect ppl's (i.e. developers) understanding of the relationship between #a11y and #AT in practice. #atchat
I have been doing moving breathing implementation plans typically. I'll have plans in the student's data book for different activities/intents. Changes based on the techs purpose though. #ATchat
Also! As a heads up (marketing will start next week) - the UMass ATC will be running an #a11y challenge beginning October 1st called #30dayaccess! The goal is to provide 30 actionable items to engage in to understand more about #accessibility. It will be on twitter and FB #atchat
Hey #Atchat Watch the #AT4NJ hashtag all day tomorrow to follow our @atacnj AT Summit. Check out the schedule of sessions: https://t.co/xV8Mo51ZIq Each session has a crowd sourced notes page with presenter resources
We'll be posting everything here on Twitter and on Facebook! There will be a link beginning next week that takes people to a document in Box that explains #30dayaccess and has some FAQs. The doc will also house all of the challenges as they're posted. :) #ATchat
