Since I get up early (by normal standards, not T standards) at 5:15, I've been making an effort to wind down earlier in the evening, and even turn off tech (tv phone) before bed and read. #bfc530

I had been doing REALLY well with this, but I’ve lost my way the last week or so-T’giving broke my rhythm. Best for me is to switch it all off by 9. Stop working, stop Tweeting 🙄😜. Then bed by 9:30pm. Otherwise the 5am start doesn’t net enough sleep😴 #BFC530

I turn the lights out for myself at the time my daughter SHOULD be asleep and read. Even if I’m not asleep, I’m still resting. Also, a good run or workout in the earlier evening helps exhaust me enough to fall asleep when I should. #BFC530

I never get enough sleep. When I'm writing, sometimes only four hours. I can do that for a few day but then it catches up with me. Lately, my body is clearly telling me I need more sleep. I've started going to bed early. Sleeping in is not usually an option. #bfc530
  • lethajhenry Dec 5 @ 5:39 AM EST

I follow a pretty consistent bedtime routine with adequate wind-down time (without email). I do an @calm meditation, use a blackout sleep mask, white noise, colder temp in room, warm weighted blanket. Consistent bed and wake times (even on weekends) are also helpful. #bfc530
