Q2: What is your definition of School Culture/What does that look like? Feel like?
A2: The beliefs and norms within the building/district. Not to be confused with climate
A2: With all these Culture vs. Climate - The values and mission. I kind of like climate better :)
Q3: How does school culture impact your ability to hire
I see climate as how people feel which can quickly change with +/- of 1 person. Culture is what we believe in

A3: School culture can be a big selling point, especially in districts that have fewer resources - you can be rich in culture

Q5: Is your district currently measuring School Culture? How
A5: I am finding that there are lots of services or simple survey questions one may utilize Maybe our friend
Q6: Does School Culture play a part in employee engagement? How do you facilitate positive cultural?
A5: Through 5Essentials survey but no internal measure
A5: There is a state-wide instrument but I'd say it focuses on Climate. No current measure for Culture.
Q7: What stakeholders have the biggest impact on School Culture?
A7: Def parents within build/comm for for +/-. Parent pride in school for +, nay sayers for - but turned to + to prove wrong.

A7: The car of folks I am riding in says community
A8: To change culture is a difficult road. Change is hard. Do what is right for kids and community. No sacred cows.
A8: Culture is super important and if you aren't looking at it with regards to you are missing out/ties into Branding
