I like the word contentedness. You create your PLN yourself, it is what you need it to be.

We wrapped up school on the 26th, but had our district eLearning Day yesterday. My peeps on fire right now.

how did that go having a PD AFTER school was out?

What did you do at eLearning day? What was your focus?

My PLN is also my stimulus for new thinking, Twitter, blogs, etc I am most content when I'm learning

I'm at a district wide social studies PD day in summer for Clayton Co in Atlanta right now. 3 days of Soc Studies PD

A2: My PLN has broadened my brain in ways I couldn't have imagined! Love hearing everything you all are doing and creating.

A2: My helped me get this job in Santa Clara.

Mostly district Ts sharing tech tools, some outside presenters as well. Hope is to open it to surrounding districts.

I LOVE SOCIAL STUDIES! feels great to have these conversations. This is 3 days about primary sources

A2: Echoing , I'm changing districts. -fired teaching growth was a definite plus in my favor.

Q4: What are tools / strategies you’ve used to manage your flow?

A3: are my go-tos for research and lesson ideas.

Started saving Tweets, links, etc. to Evernote so I can find them later!

A4: I'm a Googledoc girl. I keep one for ech conference or Tchat I do and put all links and notes there. I can find it easily

good question. I often try podcasts but stop if they don't "fill my bucket" I look for ideas, strategies inspiration

I made an Evernote this year to do just that, fell away from stashing stuff there after a couple months tho.

I've been using a lot too. The color-coding does it for me!

Oh yes, Docs for confs! With others, we keep a collaborative Doc, use a Table of Contents-- so great!

Q5: How do you envision your PLN changing over the summer?

I try to save selectively... only stuff I know I'll use & I clean out periodically. I'm kind of a neat freak ;)
