#MNLead Ashley here! Student Support Specialist at Meadow Ridge Elementary in Plymouth, MN and Aspiring Principal. Food that I’m crazy about... fried snapper... I was born and raised in the Bahamas. Love Seafood!
Hey all, Chris, MS Principal from Farmington. I love lots of food but if I had to pick one, it would be BBQ....like this spread at the Salt Lick in Driftwood, TX. I'll be back there in 3 weeks! #mnlead
That's an awesome idea! I will do it for my next batch. I''ve started using a multi-cooker(instant pot) to make it. Seriously, start to finish in 20 mins(unless I bake it.) #mnlead
Hey #MNlead Akram Osman, Dean of students at Burnsville High School. I’m crazy about pancakes 🥞 I’ll be in and out tonight as I’m trying to not fall asleep. Trying to adjust my sleep time after a fun week in Italy 🇮🇹
A1 Love watching the Relationships we make with students during the year and how they are blooming this time of year. #Trust#Passion#kidsdeserveit#MNLead
A1) #mnlead I’m mad about its ‘craziness’ - it can be so draining yet unbelievably rewarding and energy giving. Always something new around the corner EACH day!
A1- I'm mad about developing relationships and spreading my pirate love... The best feeling is seeing the smiles on my Ss faces! LOVE the Kids- all of them, everyday! #mnlead
A1) The ability to build relationships with kids early in their educational journey and see how they grow into caring and contributing people as they progress through school. #mnlead
A1) I love seeing people (both Ss and Ts) experience excitement about learning. Sometimes high school students don't emote about learning, but it's so great when they do! #mnlead
A1 I get to work with kids every day. This is how I started my morning at buses earlier this week. This is why I do it! #mnlead You never know the impact.
A1 - can I say “everything?” Meet new kids all the time, inspire students to be great, laugh about how awesome it is when teens smile. I can go for another hour!#MNLead
I love the connections I personally make with kids & families. Also love to see connection other educators make to enable kids to show their greatness. #MNLead
A1-Redundancy is never an issue when you are a building principal. No two days are ever alike. Each day brings new challenges, new problems, and new adventures with those who make everyday at work awesome.... the students!. #MNLead
A1 - can I say “everything?” Meet new kids all the time, inspire students to be great, laugh about how awesome it is when teens smile. I can go for another hour!#MNLead
A1: I love the chance to make children feel connected and loved. Everybody is some kind of special; when we delight in their presence and make them feel like they're the only one in the room, even if only for a moment in time, it can be magic! #mnlead
A2: I'm pretty much mad about anything "In The Middle". 16 years as MS principal and still loving serving as President of MMSA. Check out @KimCamp4Kids at our Summer Institute in Lakeville! #mnlead@InTheMiddleMMSA
Relationships. Students. Staff. Families. The challenges. The successes. The lessons. The heartbreaks. The break throughs. My heart ❤️ has always been HERE. I can not imagine this not being a part of my life. It’s who I am. #mnlead
A1.2 Love watching staff take risks around their teaching and watching the students buy into the learning. It’s like watching a Super Hero Fly! #MNLead
A1: I love getting to know students, staff, families. I love hearing their stories and building strong relationships. I believe in making sure every Ss and staff experiences a sense of value and belonging at school. #MNlead
A1: Completely mad about engaging with students and helping them realize dreams, helping staff grow, and laughing each day in spite of madness that may come. #MNlead
A1: When I got to observe some of my staff and students sharing ways we learn together to other educators at #ICE18 was one of the best highlights this school year. #MNLead
A1. I love the relationships and how the job pushes you to find creative ways to be better for kids, staff and families TOGETHER with other educators. #MNLead
That is the chance to shout out the greatness of our students and families. "We are glad you are here! We are excited to see you again!" We are the ambassadors for our schools. Who else gets to start their day like that? #mnlead So awesome.
A2- My #oneword2018 is FOCUS- and that's what I need to get through March- I need to FOCUS on what needs to get done before end of year... and spend more time with Ss and in classes to get me through the dreary days- looking for spring and sunshine! #MNLEAD
A2: reading - lots of it. It's time to plan the next year so tons to learn. Also date nights with the wife (Hamilton!) And lots of running and outdoors time #MNLead
A2: Knowing how things can get in the months of February and March in school, I make sure to be purposeful with my time and schedule time to connect with leaders that fill my tank with positivity and deal me hope!#MNlead
A2: Count down the days to spring break! :) No, seriously I love this time of year in regards to teaching. I feel like I am in the heart of my instruction and see such large gains from my students! #UMEdTech#mnlead
A2) I ground myself by getting out of my office, visiting classrooms, supervising on the playground, greeting students, and making my #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. #MNLead
A2) I start reflecting on the year and planning for next year. I know it sounds weird, but it re-energizes me to think of how I can take what I've learned this year and move forward next year...it's kind of a goal-evaluation and -setting time for me. #mnlead
A2- It is difficult bc March Madness relates to administration as we are trying to rap up many of the managerial tasks that consumes us. I try to stay grounded by spending quality time with my family. #MNLead
A2 taking things step by step, slowing down to do what’s best for my students. Lots of brain breaks and actions to keep things fresh! For me, working out in the mornings, meditation and coffee! #MNLead
A2) #MNLead for myself I focus on the pockets of warm, sunny days knowing what is ahead! For others, provide support or some ‘sunshine’ in any & all ways. There’s a lot happening in March and could all use a pick me up once in a while!
A2 - Honestly, same thing as every other day. Reflect on my blessing and always stay grounded. It’s easy to lose focus in those winter months when the GAS GAP starts. #mnlead
A1
I’m mad that we don’t include more “life skills” in our standardized testing. I agree the typical subjects are important, but being kind and generally a good person are more important (in my opinion).
Character
Effort
Kindness
Generosity
Empathy
Compassion
#MNLead
Q2: #mnlead it starts with keeping that positivity! Be the first to greet people (staff, students, parents) when they walk in the building. Be visible, especially in the lunch room. Take time to show appreciation and remember to take time for yourself!
A2: For a guy that goes to work in the dark and comes home in the dark for many months a year, I relish the sunrise this time of the year during my morning commute. #mnlead#itsthesmallthings
A2) I ground myself by getting out of my office, visiting classrooms, supervising on the playground, greeting students, and making my #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. #MNLead
A2 It's all about the other stuff. Spend time talking with our staff and families, not just responding to the "madness" that happens in a day. I love cooking dinner, reading, and walking my dogs. Those reset me no matter the day. #mnlead
A2. I start every day giving thanks for the blessings in my life. My family, friends church community and school community. Gratitude is an energizer that keeps on giving. You just have to keep your eyes and heart open to embrace the goodness. #MNLead
A1
Read question wrong earlier, I get it now, but still leaving my original post.
Corrected response:
I’m “mad” about the smiles, hugs, and fist pounds. The excitement I can see in their eyes and faces when they see me.
#MNLead
A2: We make sure to leave school at school and enjoy the great outdoors as the days get longer and weekends come around. Self-care is a non-negotiable! These tomatoes will be BLTs by Mothers Day. #mnlead
Breathe. Spend time each morning with coffee and reflection. Run. Listen to music. Laugh. Smile. Find inspiration in the classroom with the students and teachers...they always feed my soul. #mnlead
A2
Schedule time to be in classrooms with the Ss. They are my #1 why. I also am going out of my way to figure out what my Ts need. This is a tough time of year for all, I feel better knowing I’ve made their day easier.
Happy Teacher, Happy classroom.
#MNLead
A3: I’m not sure I do! Despite the advice from my Principal not to worry this early about things - I am constantly trying to plan September now!! #MNLead
A3) #MNLead in my role, I just listening to teachers who have concerns and provide the support I can. On the flip side, I assist building leadership teams when I can to make the best possible decisions for our Ss!
A3: I embrace the staffing season. As @ToddWhitaker says, "You have two ways to improve your school hire great people or improve the ones you have." #MNLead
A3 well since it’s my first year, I’m STRESSED. I find out by Wednesday if I’m back/ what grade I’ll be in. I’m trying to focus on getting to Thursday one step at a time and simply being thankful for all of the opportunities I’ve had and connections I’ve made so far #MNLead
A3. No matter how crazy it gets. I remind myself that hiring the best Ppl is one of the most important parts of my job. Put the right Ppl on the bus to energize and uplift your organization. Slow down, never rush or settle. Find the right fit. #MNLead
A3- does pulling my hair out count as a response. This is a tough one for me. We always are late in the process and usually have HARD to fill vacancies #mnlead
A3: Schedule all interviews for each position in one night each - have my team narrow down the resumes and observations after I weed some out. Luckily only 3 positions to hire for! #MNLead
A3 Honest Conversation and a plan to support each staff member that might need to find a new job! We all want a person in our corner in tough times. #MNLead
Q3: just learning right now, but one thing that comes to mind always is what and how can we get better to serve our kids! It’s about the kids, so finding people who believes in each and every child can definitely guide the way through the staffing madness. #MNLead
A3 - This could be a 5 paged answer. Planning is key, but sometimes things are out of our control. We have coverages frequently. These can be tough, but most people understand. The pay limits how many people will sub and the weather doesn’t help. #mnlead
A3: Change is stressful for people. I keep the focus on kids while connecting with the personal needs of staff. Again, listening and understanding needs while keeping focus on the vision. #MNLead
A2b: We are also trying #mindfulness to help keep us calm and in the moment. Our new Peace Garden serves as a beautiful place to take a circular nature walk and melt anxieties or worries away while breathing in fresh air and serenity. #mnlead
It's great to be back! Husband works as a paramedic so his schedule is crazy.....but he is home tonight to put the little to bed, so I can join! :) #mnlead
A3: For our young teachers or teachers in our Graduate Induction Program, it’s always stressful because they hear their colleagues accepting jobs and begin adulting #MNLead
A3) Luckily that is not usually on my plate, as I am not an admin...although if I'm on a lot of interview teams it can seem like a lot of responsibility to help make the right decisions! #mnlead
A3: I’ll be switching roles from Dean of students to Associate Principal as of July 1st. I’m in a unique position as I’ll be experiencing a lot of learning and growth in the next few months in the area of staffing, so I will continue to live in the madness 😀 #MNlead
A3 work fast while being clear about what we need to continue moving forward. Remember to not take things personally and take time to enjoy the crazy while sharing the attributes of our school and why it is an amazing place to make s difference each day #mnlead
A3: I’ll be switching roles from Dean of students to Associate Principal as of July 1st. I’m in a unique position as I’ll be experiencing a lot of learning and growth in the next few months in the area of staffing, so I will continue to live in the madness 😀 #MNlead
A3 Big thing is the stress of dealing with people's careers. It's never fun when we have to cut or lose a section. I try to be up front with anyone it involves. #mnlead
A3: Depends on your role. As principal, I work to turn around registration as quick as possible and have lots of honest conversations with staff as soon as I can. The longer people wonder, the less focused they are on student learning. #mnlead
Seriously, seeing all the pics is giving me Major Minnesnowta Nostalgia! #MNLead The cold brings people together and you all share a precious ambiance. I wish I were still there! Margo, the retired MS and HS teacher and now author, missing MN!
A3
Toughest for me is staying 100% positive about Ts moving on to something that is better for them. Yes, it’s selfish to want them forever to stay with us, but they are amazing and not replaceable (at their level). I get over it and am proud of what they’ve earned.
#MNLead
A3: Remembering that some staff are secure in their positions and some are stressed. Reminding those who are secure to support the others around them. #MNLead
A3 - We are dealing with schedule changes that may impact jobs. It’s hard to remind people to think about teaching when they could by looking for a new job. #MNlead
A3: I’ll be switching roles from Dean of students to Associate Principal as of July 1st. I’m in a unique position as I’ll be experiencing a lot of learning and growth in the next few months in the area of staffing, so I will continue to live in the madness 😀 #MNlead
We are the barometer for our buildings. Our attitudes, words and actions set the temperature and "weather patterns" in our building. We are the calm, the high pressure and sunny skies. #mnlead
A4- great Q! I try to be consistent throughout the years, but there are days.. and then I take a deep breath and think about the KIDS and what they deserve.. don't let doldrums impact the Kids... #mnlead
A4: Sometimes. If we've asked staff to "do something" and we are not seeing action, then I'm less understanding. But I try to stay as positive as possible and keep the humour going in our building. #MNLead
A4 Certainly, this is something that I struggle with. It is with anything- in the beginning things that "bother" you are more easily overlooked. After the repetitiveness over time, you become less tolerant. I think its human nature. #UMEdTech#mnlead
A4) #MNLead Oof! That’s a toughie!! Sometimes it just depends. I realize everyone is stressed and there is a lot going on, but remaining professional is something I prefer everyone to do.
Q4: being less tolerant wont help the situation. It’s important to be consistent and helping everyone learn and grow together. We can always learn something from every situation. #MNLead
A4) Honestly, sometimes yes. I always hope that by this time of year expectations have and routines have settled. But after a long year, everyone can get a bit stressed, and it's hard for Ss and Ts to always do what needs to be done. #mnlead
A4) Student behaviors. No. They are doing the best they can. And my tolerance needs to remain consistent-with staff and students. If I’m tired...I need to rest...not lose my patience.:) #mnlead
Q4: being less tolerant wont help the situation. It’s important to be consistent and helping everyone learn and grow together. We can always learn something from every situation. #MNLead
A4: I have to remind myself about THIS all the time, especially in March as we spring into testing and behaviors tend to test us. Try asking, "Are they asking for attention or connection?" #mnlead
A4) I give my staff the advice to remember you'll need to review expectations every day, all year long. Knowing that, behaviors shouldn't make you so mad. #MNLead
A3. As a school counselor this can be hard I try to help students understand changes or reassure them the change will be ok.....they question a ton about who will be where next year. #mnlead
A4 - Reflection about our jobs is one of the keys to always or almost always remaining positive about teaching. There is never going to be a week, month or year that doesn’t create some kind of stress. It’s all about remaining in the game. #mnlead
A4 that time of year and we should be reteaching expectations to students and staff. Make a contest around it and “Hook” them. We are having a Bus Contest around behavior and RECESS is next. Only 4 bus referrals in the last 4 weeks. Nice work Wildcat Team #PBISMN#MNLead
A4 I don't think so, but maybe I'm naive. Testing season changes the "normal" school pattern so that can impact both student and adult behaviors. I just need to keep in mind that every one is giving their best. #MNLead
A2 I #culturize by starting each morning jotting a personal positive note to a staff member. I also use the app Quiet for GMail to help balance life.
#mnlead
A4
I’m not, but this has been many years of learning to get here. The struggle for me is supporting the Ts in a way that helps them to not feel beat down while helping treat/manage behaviors rather than just handing out referrals & suspensions. Thankful 4 @MattRay30 help
#MNLead
A4: It's at this time that you have to be the most keen of listeners, so that you can really understand and provide guidance, support, or just an ear. Sometimes being present and real is what is needed. #mnlead
A4. If I find myself less patient, I take time to reflect & consider how I can respond more positively to challenging circumstances. It’s our responses to life’s circumstances that define who we are. If my actions are not reflective of my values. Time to check myself. #MNLead
A4: Reach deep into understanding and remember your response is a teachable moment for that person. Never lose your enthusiasm to support the growth of others (even if it seems like it isn’t working) #MNLead
#mnlead A4: I guess I tend to be more disappointed if this is a recurrence of a previous behavior. If it's something new, I will handle myself and the situation much the same as I have all year long. #consistency
A4: Ss are Ss. I enjoy them each and everyday. They give me the energy to do the work that I do. Adults need more TLC than kids. It’s important that we, as adults, stay focus and positive. Ss need to be able to approach us on good days and bad days. We are their light. #MNLead
Yes, at times but it does not last long since I have a strong support system. Some adults can have vicarious trauma this time of year so it's essential to lead and care for the team #mnlead
I like taking #extremeownership in this case. If students aren't measuring up, I must take ownership of the fact that I must reteach. Ultimately it's my responsibility to make it clear to them. It's on me! #MNLead
Exactly. I’ve got a few I can vent to and talk out my thoughts, but you are so right about not showing it. I also take deep breaths and exercise to get my head right so it doesn’t play into my devious and actions on campus.
#MNLead
A4: I don’t think my tolerance for behaviors is any different. I always remind myself that behaviors are communication to me to continue to dig deep to connect and support the student. It’s never personal. Also, I’m OK with letting someone else step in and show a new face #MNlead
A4 I catch myself thinking, “We’ve been in school for 107 days, you should know how to do this” and then I remember that they are 6 and 7 so I try to take a deep breath and reteach instead #MNLead
A4 Honest answer: There are times when I recognize patterns that frustrate me, in myself, students and staff. I have to pause and "reset" myself at times to model calm, clear thinking, even in difficult situations. #mnlead

#vaespchat#mnlead Hey, some great folks in these overlapping chats tonight, be sure to check out the other hashtag to find some great people to follow and add to your PLNs!!
So important to remember that they've only been her for X amount of years and those early years were spent learning basic skills like walking and talking. Makes that reteach SO much easier! #mnlead

A5- I enjoy my Birthday month.. take time for ME, squeeze in an extra massage and try to get Sunshine whenever I can.. pray for early Spring and snow to stop. Put snowmen away and prepare for Easter #mnlead
A5) Exercise outside whenever possible. Even in the wind today it felt great to feel the sun. Also, I always plan a summer vacation...big or small I like to have a travel experience to look forward to. #mnlead
I used to workout 5 days a week for the last three years. It helped me lose 30 lbs. Now I've found a balance of sleeping 8 hrs(t, Th) and the gym(M,W,F). I'm feeling even better than before! #mnlead

"They are 1st generation born at the turn of the century of come into the world with virtually limitless ability" ~ Molly Keenum, #MCSS2018 High School Teacher of the Year, describing the potential of her students. @SocialStudiesMN#socialstudies#mnlead#sschat
A5: Spring is just around the corner, and golf is just a few swings away. Ss and Ts in Minnesota will begin to enjoy the much needed warmth. Hahah #MNLead
A5: As weird as it might sound, part of my self-care regimen consists of baking for the family and for others. So therapeutic to create in the kitchen! #mnlead
A5) If you don't want to fall behind, then make sure you run in front! Keeping busy with really fun and interesting new instructional strategies and technology keeps things fresh. #mnlead
A5: daily exercise with #fitleaders , Meditate (I need to be more consistent), read for pleasure, & try to be the best #DadsAsPrincipals I can be. #MNLead
A5 - I exercise 5-6 days a week and I’m usually with others that keeps it positive. Reading, writing and just plain de-stressing is my way of thinking. I try to remind students to “control what you can control” and avoid sweating the small stuff. #MNlead
I have been doing it for almost one year now. It has helped me drop just about 50 lbs. Thanks for the advice with sleeping, that is one thing I need to get more of! #mnlead
A5: I work out every day. Have been for 30 years and plan to for the next 30. We are also purposeful about our time with family, both young and old. After we end this thing called work, that's what is really important. #mnlead
A5 Knowing there are breaks. I intentionally take time off. NYC in July, BWCA in the summer. Weekend projects that make me feel good like painting, or home maintenance. Gotta fill our own buckets too. #mnlead
A5
Spending quality time with wife & kids
Crossfit been great. It’s not appropriate to repeat, but the coaches like to tell me, “hit weights, not parents”.
In seriousness, I’m exhausted from my day, but it gives me a chance to workout physically and relax mentally.
#MNLead
Hope I can join in...A5) Practice gratitude and self care, and allow myself to get fired up. I try to remind myself what a privilege and honor it is to help children become better human beings. #MNLead
A4: I don't think I have less tolerance, but it can be frustrating when you've worked for months to form relationships and assist ppl (adults and Ss) and they are still making poor decisions. That's when I/we need to #trendthepositive#mnlead
A4: try to be consistent all the time—be visible as an admin Yes in March Tt need to feel admin support —I tell Tt I will drop anything if they are having Ss issues #mnlead
A6- My impromptu Dance Parties!! I enjoy getting the Kids riled up and then the Ts have to settle them down in class... hee, hee, but I love it! The kids now ask for dance parties! #mnlead
A6: April Fools jokes. For example, putting a covered dish in the workroom that says "brownies take one" only for the victim to find brown construction paper "E's" inside. #UMEdTech#mnlead
A6 - I do a wellness Wednesday that’s always strange. I get students and staff to dance, exercise eat food or just plain act silly. Many love it, but some “oscars” don’t. Oh well! #MNlead
A5 (Matt from Northfield joining late.) I make sure to prioritize sleep, get regular walks, and remember that I chose this vocation for a reason! Every day counts! #mnlead
A6 I know I get a little to "enthusiastic" in the halls with my greetings. Not everyone likes high fives and shout outs. I've learned to "tailor" my greetings to match the person. #mnlead I still miss my mark at times.
A5. I try to find the perfect balance between work and family life. I mostly try to focus on my 3 Fs, Faith, Family, and Friends, as an outlet. #MNlead
A6: I like to give little things for our staff! We did awards this year, Valentine's chocolates and now Easter stuff. Anything to bring them up, makes me happy! #MNLead
#MNLead as we end here tonight, could you send some good vibes my way? I find out if I’m coming back to my school/ what grade I will be in by Wednesday of this week and I’m getting really anxious about it. Thank you all for your continuous support!
A6: We hosted a Sweet Potato Launch at the end of first semester and our teachers LOVED it! Competing against one another in the great outdoors with the Principal as our target? MADness! #mnlead
A6: I've tried to play music in the morning while Ts are coming in lately. They have to suffer through my favourites, but I've had a lot of positive responses! #MNLead
#MNLead as we end here tonight, could you send some good vibes my way? I find out if I’m coming back to my school/ what grade I will be in by Wednesday of this week and I’m getting really anxious about it. Thank you all for your continuous support!
A6 Mystery Destination Christmas Party for Staff 🎅🏼 I load them up on a bus and no one knows where we are going or what we will do. Last yr, we learned to paint! #MNlead
A6: Every morning as Ss arrive, I get about 30-50 Ss in my room doing karaoke. It’s always nice to get kids exited about music and few bodies out of the hallway. Since it’s early, Ts don’t like the noise. Hahah #MNLead
Q6: For me, it’s not about driving them mad, it’s about making them excited about being at school. Keep it fun... dress up days in March are the best. Find ways to show a little compassion. We will be doing a fun food drive to give back to our local food shelf. #MNLead
This is sure an awesome topic—-interesting to think about March from a teachers perspective as an administrator #mnlead I have some ideas that I need to try for Tt and Ss
A6 I go chat up the kiddos eating lunch, having crazy conversations and asking lots of crazy questions that they pepper teachers with #gottahavefun! #mnlead
I solicited upbeat song suggestions from staff (I got a few from kids too!) & I blast them over the intercom as students enter the building and wait to go into their classrooms. I dance up & down the corridors greeting #d83spartans! It’s my favorite time of day. 🧡🎶🎶 #MNlead
That's the BEST. We took ours to WalMart once, to play Price Is Right with our $75 grant gift cards and shop for their students in need. They had NO idea where we were going when we boarded the bus. Most memorable staff outing, EVER! #mnlead
A6 This doesn’t drive folks “mad” but recommit to LBWA (leadership by walking around). Easy to get stuck in your office planning next year. LBWA is a good practice for each and every day of the school year! Maintain those connections! #mnlead
As someone who is a bit introverted, I would appreciate that "tailoring." I'm sure your staff members do too...it shows that you care about them and not the show. #mnlead
Absolutely!! It's how we GROW! My Ss love to do self-reflections all the time! It has taught them to be flexible in their learning, and to truly understand to CELEBRATE MISTAKES!! #MNLead#ecet2#LeadLAP#KidsDeserveIt#MasteryChat#g2great#tlap
A6: Every now and then I will break out the pink Arnold Palmer coat and wear it to IEP meetings, the lunchroom, and bus duty like nothing is different. #mnlead
A6: Games that get the staff going/laughing/sharing....like minute to win it. Some love it, some want to punch me. At least we all laugh about it. #MNLead
A6
We participate in the district kickball tournament every year. It’s a lot of fun. We get to be outside together without anything educational related. Get to see each other’s families. Even our Ss and families come out to support.

"Social science is difficult. There's no right answer."
CTA - I’m going to write a positive letter to my department. The focus will be on: THANKS for all you do, all you are and all that you give each day. #MNLead
CTA It is important to remember we have two ears and one mouth for a reason. This time of year listening is even more important. Letting people get out concerns, hopes, and dreams is essential. Make time for each other. #mnlead
I guess I crashed as well. I am a teacher leader at my school but not in a formal position. Just a reg. classroom T. So I was a little out of place with some of tonight's questions because they did not pertain to me. It was nice to share ideas though! #UMEdTech#mnlead
#mnlead chats aren't always building-leader-focused, but even when they are it is good for us non-admin to share our ideas and gain insight from others.
CTA: Can do....looking forward to it! I bought some cards I wanted to hand out a couple weeks ago.....this week I will write them and pass them out! :) #mnlead

CTA: I love the work my Residents doaily. They are in the grind as a first year teachers. In March once a week, I’ll stop by the coffee shop and get them an excellent cup of Joe! It’s the least I can do, and I appreciate them! #MNLead#MOKA#OlStar

Thank you @PrincipalFrench for moderating tonight’s chat on March Madness. It’s been great. And thanks to all who contributed! Love my Ts and Admin friends! #MNLead
Helping others-it feeds your soul. Take time to smile at a student. Ask a staff member how they are-then listen. Wipe a student’s tears and assure them we will work through this together. Give a Kleenex to a staff member and assure them we will work through this together. #mnlead
Thank you for joining #MNLead. Find ways to add more March Madness (crazy fun) and reduce some March Madness (stress and anxiety). Reach out to others here and build your PLN. It was an honor to be your facilitator tonight.
