A1: In design the approach entirely dictates whether the product is appropriate and accepted. That's true for anything we create.
Love this question. Important to focus more on the process vs. the end result. Learn to fail, iterate, etc..

Yes, I think so. It has to be a mindset of everything connecting, not isolated teaching. Ss see how everything connects

In an effort to not be mutually exclusive, all sides must have merit, to someone, weigh that against the needs of the end user

There is nothing fun about having 25 of the same things turned in. Allow choice, struggle & thought. Students rise to challenge.
A3: How important is the individual here? The artist vs the consumer. Some Ts live creativity. Others mimic a process. Matter?
