keep in touch w/ppl virtually & IRL. Conferences are great for meeting like minded teachers w/progressive objectives.
well, Nicole.... what is it they say about great minds?
Last day of school today! We made it!
Good morning Tracy from Nantucket, MA ready to have an amazing last day with my Ss.
My humble advice to & other summer conference attendees...please report in to us at 😊😊😊 Love to read about your learning!
.... well, is in Denver, so allow some time to go to the mountains.
let admins know tech oriented conferences by ppl who do tech is best way to spend training funds. Document experience.
good morning, Chris & Mark. Hope all is well.
Good morning! Rashida - Division Level Instructional Coach from Fairfax, VA
Enjoy the time getting to know like-minded educators, share ideas, and take great notes for those of us who can't be there!
I'm not attending but my advice is to grow your PLN so learning doesn't stop at the conference
document your experiences. Present it in a presentation for other teachers in September. Suggest it be part of inservice.
Was thinking the same thing.Sharing out helps those who can't attend, and helps w/ one's own reflection of takeaways.
If you're going with a group - make sure to attend different sessions to get the biggest bang for your buck. You can debrief later
Collaborate often / share ideas.
Share out w/ colleagues not in attendance as well as school admins & school committees so all stakeholders benefit & see value.
Hey Chris! All is well with me. Thanks for checking in! How about with both of you?
ha. I said the same thing.
Right on! Kind of encourages reflection and 'digestion' of new learning!
In your PD groups on Twitter add those hashtags too. Add and in addition to expand the convo outside conference.
Make f2f connections w/ people from PLNs and keep those connections going.
Be aware of yourself and others. Everyone learns differently
Advice: Soak it all in and enjoy! You most certainly deserve such a great learning opportunity! Time to recharge a bit!
Come w/money! 🤑 Always great resources to buy at conferences! 📚❤️
yes! Sometimes we get wrapped up in the Twittersphere & forget the value of F2F connections!
I'm such a geek, I love sharing w/ others what I've learned. Helps spread new learning and strengthen my own.
Yes! And an empty bag for the swag! ;)
Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy a wonderful summer weekend!
Enjoy your Friday ! And to those attending don't forget to share with the rest of us!

I wish it wasn't held my last week of school so I could go! Have a great time everyone! Share lots!
& they may be following the hashtag as well.
Great ideas! Meet w/ those you've connected w/on SM. Also, those notes could be great if you want to blog experience later.
Take @ least one great thing you learn and develop a plan to implement the new idea this school year. https://t.co/IGEOtMLMZj
The ideas really start flowing once you dive in. Good idea to write them down so you'll remember later.
Absolutely! Our team took notes in a shared Google Doc so we could see/share each other's notes! https://t.co/y3Qa3eQuxA

Though I usually want to say "Yes!" to deluge of summer learning, there's idiosyncratic point where strategic "No" is better answer.
I want to remember these. Glad you did bc this is all great advice!
I created QR code to use as my phone wallpaper for colleagues to scan. It linked to my digital business card.
Purposely reflect on what you learned each night. I am going to try sketchnoting after sessions.
