I really enjoy Google Docs when writing lesson plans so that I can collaborate with others
A1-I have word files in a dropbox folder. They’re printed out in a binder, but I often make updates so I have to reprint them.
A1 Now in google docs or html. Just easier for Ss and others to access.
A1: Hand write lesson plans, scan them, send them to Evernote, tag them.
A1: Google Docs are my favorite. You can put the link to your plans anywhere and collaborate with ease.

I preferred to use drive to house curriculum maps and lessons
A1 Used to use OneNote. Moved to using our LMS this year. Love it.
A1: Are there good templates somewhere that we can share? This needs guidance
A1: Lesson plans in Google. Sometimes Docs, sometimes Slides. Need to be cloud-based for easy access and sharing/collaboration

Publisher so I can easily format (I have student side and teacher side) and Drive to create resources-sharability w/ Ss
Wonder about the bad platforms ppl would shy away from
as long as those it's implemented for are part of a culture of encouragement & don't expect perfection from start
RT : . I use to follow the steam and it auto-adds the hashtag. Pretty handy!
Me, too! Anyone have a DO NOT USE list? https://t.co/sh3JA0xE6A

does anyones school district require them to use a specific format? If not how does admin keep rrack
A4: System works well but I am constantly changing it and making improvements as new things come up!
I am starting a book club/chat using Canvas so Ss can discuss books they are reading this summer.
A4: the system works fantastic, my updating not so much... More cocktail napkin that reference Drive files ;-)
A4 it worked well. Ss, Ts, Ps knew assignment. no excuses poossible either. Open Communication = productive class!
My student engagement went through the ROOF when I started using an LMS ().
I do get the opportunity to learn a lot of systems for sure. We grow by learning so that explains my weight. :-)
A4 I like my system. I co-teach, so I share A LOT of LPs & other docs. Also great to work offline when interwebs goes down.
A4: We are transitioning to Genesis so teachers put their Docs links in this system. Some like it, others don't.
A4: Seriously, though, it’s fantastic. Drive makes for easy updates, sharing with colleagues/supervisor, etc.
A4 is so easy to organize with folders, share, collaborate, etc. I have not experienced anything better.
what?!? You and although on wait list
A4-Updating word files all the time and printing them over again is annoying. I should be more efficient with technology.
A4) Well sadly, I'm no longer in CR. So since I only collab w/1 person, it works *fantastically*! 😂 https://t.co/ssgnI2Ciy8
A4: Our initiative has been successful because Canvas has been so easy to use.
A4 We use for our lp, Tina from AL
A4 I am comfortable with my system, so it is working well!

A4: So far so good! However I am only a fr and this is my 1st semester as an ed major so I don't have a lot of documents yet
So if I go to I will see you?!
And don’t forget the evil ~prefixed word files….
Totally have learned so much from teachers like all of you on Twitter.
Did you still want to carpool with me to on July 11?
A4: We have had problems with OneDrive. JH students don't fully understand the cloud.
A5 I ❤️ and OneDrive. works well for what I need. Always wonder if we use it all to its full potential
We look at tech skills being used by businesses today & integrate tools that teach Ss those skills.
A4 is great bc we can post lp, online assignments, notes, PowerPoints, grades, etc. for Ss Ps and other Ts
Why connecting so crucial “: Totally have learned so much from teachers like all of you on Twitter. ”
Publisher is great for formatting but not having easy access to it anywhere/any time is a draw back. I plan to move it to Drive
A4 I ❤️ and OneDrive. works well for what I need. Always wonder if we use it all to its full potential
Yeah, we just have to click import grades and they are imported.
Google Drive has helped with organization of documents and lesson plans.
Granted, with all of these cloud syncing services (I run 4), you can kill your data on hotspot! Close them on hotspot!
Canvas has way more features than Google Classroom.
Q5 coming up in 1 minute…
More is useful only if you USE it all. Most Ts don't!
Anyone in headed to to on 7/8 in DC?
A3: GoogleDocs allows the teacher & student to share/respond to work without carrying multiple journals home
So true!!! That was a selling point for Canvas. It could do everything.
A5-I want a system I can grow old with. Encompassing all sorts of files so all my resources for a lesson are in one place.
A4 we can share calendars, videos, audio, etc. on
A5: That I learn how to create them so I can help my teachers when they need to integrate tech and can give them a detailed plan
Ts, where do you do most of your work? How is your access? https://t.co/qU2BEcAfe5
Granted, with all of these cloud syncing services (I run 4), you can kill your data on hotspot! Close them on hotspot!
A5: they have to be portable and easily organized. Collab would be nice, too.
A5 nothing to do with lesson plans. I have a loooong tech wish list. Remodeling & moving comp lab this summer.
I hope someone can't go so I can!
A5: That there is a way to type in a specific lesson you want to teach and it shows all the different ways to teach it
I am a fan, use it w/Ss, for proj, :) Lesson Plans, like spontaneity, led Ss lead
A5 More materials for my Makerspace and more time with Ss to be able to explore. I only get them for 45 mins a week.
just offer some clam pizza and distract him to take his ticket
Q5 I wish was more searchable for files and links with the folders I've created
This would be a *dream*. https://t.co/ziXgVGxtHd
A5: That there is a way to type in a specific lesson you want to teach and it shows all the different ways to teach it
That is a big wish! To find a system and format to last!
would love a platform that can integrate discussion, checks for understanding, feedback with real time data in a simple easy way
for now it's working using google drive and g. docs. As new features are added, it makes it easier https://t.co/cp36NKAaiE
A5 I agree. I would love one stop shopping. I am just too scattered among different clouds.but trying!
https://t.co/Oytyw3yi6w
A5-I want a system I can grow old with. Encompassing all sorts of files so all my resources for a lesson are in one place.
That would be so worthwhile and beneficial for differentiated instruction https://t.co/Vr8QvWTd1X
A5: That there is a way to type in a specific lesson you want to teach and it shows all the different ways to teach it
A5: Uniformity and Portability
A5 I wish was more searchable for files and links within the resources folders I've created
A5) Wish more tech sites came w/strength, robustness of LMS - would ❤️ to create qz, etc. w/o LMS https://t.co/NURbzBBC5q
Right now, I am happy with Google Docs. I enjoy making templates for both myself and teachers newly trying it out.
A5 a connection to a list of the standards that you can click and then add all the extras... saves time! Which has
A5: Ts at my building wanted to know that what they were building wouldn't go away in 2 years when something new came out.
A5: Learning to do a better job in developing student voice and passion. Let them drive the learning bus.
A5: I would 100% love that! With video models, and the resources to support https://t.co/nA7hPCkArj
This would be a *dream*. https://t.co/ziXgVGxtHd

A5: LMS that are free & simple to use with all the ins & outs an educator needs/wants
It's going well but I am disappointed the iPad app doesn't have all the features the comp does like badges
I want an index - they look for a presentation tool that supports X - I have 3 and they see how they work
A6-I’m hoping to test a few of these ideas out so I can make a smarter choice for myself.
I will participate in more Twitter chats that you moderate!
