A3 I stretch my sts with their writing ... this year I submitted 20 entries to the HCTE writing contest ... I was so proud of them & they were surprised that I thought their writing was worthy. πππ #HCPSTeach
A3: This week I switched one of our standard #PLTW Robotics builds to ask the students to design a #Fortnite trap. Before you roll your eyes know that they went nuts for it. I've gotten the best response ever. I met them with my lesson and added their interest. #HCPSTeach
A3v2: This week I also stepped out of the box by addressing bigotry as humor directly. It isn't related to #STEM but it is related to being a good human and that's more important. We are teachers of children; that extends beyond topic or subject. #HCPSTeach

S&S I guess my show & share has been reaching out to people when something annoys me and asking to help make it better rather than complaining about it. It's given me insights I would have never understood before. #HCPSTeach
Also, I freaked the kids out when I cut up a comic book and turned it into art for my classroom. They couldn't believe I would destroy something that could be worth up to $5 in 20 years. #HCPSTeach
