A1: Put all my reading tests on Canvas. Started it last year and finally finished minus a phonics and grammar test here and there. Key element was persistence and knowing that this year it will pay off. I will finally be 1 to 1! #canvas4elem
A1: One of our biggest wins this year is an increase in interest from our elem Ts! We have several signed up for sessions this week to learn more about using @CanvasLMS in their K-5 classrooms. #canvas4elem#ntxcug
This year seeing more and more teachers using the Google LTI integration with @CanvasLMS has been outstanding. How the younger learners can have everything at their fingertips. #canvas4elem
A1) Something that went well this year was the successful recruitment of some great elem teachers from Arlington ISD to participate in @ESCRegion11 blended learning academy! They've already begun work on some student orientation modules in @canvaslms#arlingtech#canvas4elem
A1: the growth I saw in my students, both academically and socially. Key elements had to be relationships, culture and making the learning engaging! #canvas4elem
A1: One of our wins this year is that we're setting up two of our elementaries to use Canvas as their primary home for staff resources and information. #canvas4elem#ntxcug
A1: My biggest win was coaching a 4th grade teacher on using @CanvasLMS in her dual-language classroom. Not only did she love what it did for her classroom but her students loved it too! #canvas4elem
A1: I haven’t created a course yet! However I saw the success of our ELA 6th grade teacher & how she’s modifying to improve for next year. I’m planning to start a coding course for our 5th & 6th graders for our next school year! @JonesAcademy1@KidsDeserveIt#canvas4elem

Q1-using canvas for faculty meetings and PLC’s-great way to have vertical team discussions and easy for those with schedule conflicts to join in
She did not use the media recorder this year (that I know of). She did a lot of Google Cloud assignments, @nearpod lessons, external URLs, and a few other embedded lessons she created. #canvas4elem

The Google integration allows students to have a copy of all the resources and easily manage them with their course(s) in @CanvasLMS While organization isn't always the key to achievement, it takes out the mismanagement and allows room for learning. #canvas4elem
Q2) Elem teachers coming to realize that @CanvasLMS affords the space to host their blended learning lessons, regardless of whether the lesson includes external tools like GAFE, VoiceThread, Padlet, etc. One site to rule them all . . . #canvas4elem
A2: Getting a campus's staff to begin using Canvas for online collaboration, communication, etc. will help model for our elem T's what can be done in turn with students. #canvas4elem#ntxcug
A2: Using an LMS helped this teacher to stay organized (along with helping her Ss to stay organized), address the needs of her Ss at various levels, and something she was most excited about...save trees! #canvas4elem
Q2: Recently been digging into rubrics and learning mastery gradebook a little more. Sometimes wonder what is going on and other times have a'ha moments #canvas4elem

Q2-using canvas as a venue for follow-up on PLC’s helped us stay on track and take the learning to application-uploading work samples was one way we did it
A2 key element would be technology. In school I’m doing research on it and 97% of the kids in my study stated they felt the technology was a major influence on their success this year #canvas4elem

Are those work samples then used by the PLC during their analysis & conversations? Love the idea of sharing those samples with the team in a protected space. #canvas4elem#ntxcug

A3: We'll continue working with campus leadership to design a space that they're comfortable with, while giving our T's some new experiences & opportunities to grow. Hopefully get more campuses on board once we have these models to demo for them. #canvas4elem#ntxcug

We share with our district through our department newsletters, but I'm definitely interested in hearing how others share their celebrations and promote their work! #canvas4elem#ntxcug
A4: sharing celebrations is the best, from faculty recognition, to awards, to badges in @CanvasLMS giving teachers a chance to share their stories is also key. #canvas4elem
A4) Try to celebrate via emails, course and global announcements, Twitter posts, hand-written notes, etc. I always feel like I need to be more intentional about highlighting, sharing, etc. the good stuff happening out there! #canvas4elem
Text based and some with audio. That’s the next big project. That way my students with accommodations can stay with me and or do them at home if they are sick. #canvas4elem
A4: I think @LEISDDigLearn does a great job bragging about Ts, Ss, and campuses using @CanvasLMS through social media, newsletters, face to face, etc. #canvas4elem

A5: In my district I would like to have quarter meetings with 1st and 2nd grade. We are the last to become 1 to 1 in our district. I think when get together and share what we are doing we can use canvas to it’s full potential. #canvas4elem

A5: I think most of my team would agree that we want to grow the campus usage to most (if not all) of our elem campuses.Then also grow the elem T usage. We have been reaching out to our principals to do this and we are offering PL opportunities this summer for Ts. #canvas4elem
A5: Our future goals revolve around anything that includes "growth". Focusing on bringing more elem T's into the fold would be great. #canvas4elem#ntxcug
A5) Working right now with elementary G/T lead teachers to train them up to create literature circle extension lessons for their students next year. That should make an impact at every campus! #canvas4elem

The screencasts were also used to provide APs, Deans, and campus leaders with examples of how @CanvasLMS is being utilized in our classrooms by awesome teachers and librarians. #canvas4elem
My favorite part of my job is meeting with colleagues in other departments and just brainstorming how @CanvasLMS might help them address a need or meet a goal. #canvas4elem Thx to @agreshamGT for being a willing collaborator on the G/T project!
