A1: Yep! We do YA Lit Circles (usually themed), and use YA lit as mentor texts. I like a mix of classics & contemporary.

I challenge kids to read 10 books & I challenge myself to read 20 to be fair. I read when the kids read in class

You should share the trailers with the library! They then would be able to use them to advertise books to the school!

Also have them write down their "elevator pitch" for the book before we begin, so they have an idea of how to start.
