We usually come over the sisters and go to Evanston for our FT, otherwise we have to drive 2 hours to get to the zoo. The great thing about WY is the wide open space but it puts us at a disadvantage too. #teacherfriends

A3: Students not being engaged is a direct reflection on us as the adults. We need to push ourselves harder with our planning/energy towards engagement to make sure ALL students are engaged. 99% just isn’t good enough! Good teaching is 25% Prep and 75% Theater! #TeacherFriends
#TeacherFriends A3:Moving Ss to another area to work is a quick fix.Monitoring activities chosen, then adjusting to calmer/more engaging activities helps in long term.

Although preparation is important, student engagement can be created without anything at all. Just YOU as the teacher! As teachers, it’s easy to see when we don’t have “100%.” It’s our job to figure out how to add that spark in the moment sometimes! #TeacherFriends

A take away from reading institute this summer - it is fine to stop a minilesson if it's not going well - students don't know the difference #teacherfriends

From POV of a sub I Love when I see kids engaged with each other as they use apps. Their excitement in collaborating and sharing as they teach each other is even in body language, language and pure JOY! #TeacherFriends
