    A2 ~ Supporting ELL and special education Ss as they prepare for graduation exams is challenging. We have 5 months and an 8 period day with a completely scheduled teaching staff. Also, many Ss are frustrated as they have taken exams many times! #Leadupchat

    Learn from my mistake when I made this change- communicate, communicate, communicate with the parents! I got beat up a bit because parents wanted to see worksheets, packets, etc. that they'd seen in the past. Educate parents too with ed changes. #LeadUpChat

    We continue to struggle against this since we have state and federal accountability measures that include standardized test. It's tough to shift thinking about curriculum/instruction if you feel confident that current (and old) practices bring success on those tests. #leadupchat
