A2: it was late 2016, but celebrated in 2017...winning the NCEA social media influencer contest and attending the convention! Now I'll be presenting at NCEA 2018! The experience at the covention was amazing! #ohedchat

Inequities are sustained by our failure to acknowledge the existence and struggle of marginalized social groups. Making that an educational priority is a 21st century skill worth prioritizing. #ohedchat
This is so important. I was just lucky enough to spend time at Southwest Airlines to learn about their culture-celebrations and recognition are very important to them. It made me think about how often I celebrate others. I need to work on that. #ohedchat

A5: I work in LRC with technology. I don’t have the same “technology savvy skill set” my LMS has. Being able to problem solve more technology questions & issues...learning another skill set! #ohedchat

Me too! I'm bound and determined that they WILL happen. And I WILL get their voice regarding student behavior data and to help drive decision making regarding booster lessons, plans of attack etc. Scary territory, but exciting territory #OHedChat#pbis

When we have chosen our words, I give notice weeks ahead of time, usually with an excerpt about why from @JonGordon11 I think it is really important to give a lot of consideration to this word if we are truly going to embrace it #OhEdChat
