A2. #EduMatch A lot of people will straight up tell you when they are disengaged...there are also signs, many mentioned by the panel. I think when you stop trying to grow, that is a clear sign.
A3. #EduMatch I agree with what @hgsisk said, it tends to become contagious. In addition, like @MsFagin said, it will likely even end up hurting the students.
Great point on the #EduMatch panel, sometimes engagement fluctuates based around external events (i.e. having kids, emergencies, etc.). Great points being made about not making assumptions, and asking questions. Also great point about the need for #PLN. Check it out.

Getting to know your co-workers helps create that culture you're talking about! I agree that a PLN can fill in gaps to help fight fear, but attending outside events, or just chatting about your personal life helps too #edumatch
