A1: Funny, usually end up & ENJOY ones I never planned to attend- spur of the moment decision w/ friend
A1 Usually for practical reasons- transportation, timing with school year, etc.
A1: I usually reflect on current or anticipated needs in my school to help me decide which conferences to attend.

A1: Last year, I went to several about blended learning. I shared the info with teachers for their Annual Action Plans.

A1: I always visit the cathedral and professional baseball stadium. The conferences cannot conflict with these visits!

Go to conferences to come up with creative, collaborative solutions with others. Meeting and working with others is key

NCEA Central is back at : visit the bookstore, recharge your devices, connect with staff and engage on social media .
Q4, I ask questions, and more questions. My favorite is “Can you tell me more about that?” LOVE Edcamps! rocks!

I need to dig through the presentors. I was wondering how many authors we have presenting.
A3: Twitter!!! How else will you be able to tweet along?
A4: After a session/talk I write down the ONE most important takeaway to think about later. Tom.

A4 when going to a session where you don't know anyone, join a table, don't sit alone at an empty one

Missing my friends! Every weekend has been busy, next weekend (Easter) will be the same...going to San Diego early for NCEA!
A4: For me it's so impt for me to take time & network w/my colleagues so we can stay connected after a conference
