#wearewayne Research from the book “Making Habits, Breaking Habits” by Jeremy Dean says behavior can take as little as 21 days to become a habit for simple tasks, but over 200 days for more complex tasks. What resolution/new behavior will be hardest for you to keep?
A1: My resolution was to be mindful in moments instead of thinking of other things. It's difficult bc it's all intentional thinking and not something physical you can finish and mark off your list. Cell phone reminders have helped! #wearewayne
#wearewayne trying to be healthier this New Year. Trying to get in the gym 4 or 5 a week and eat healthier. Want to be active with my family, especially with my little guy.
A1: Good thing @Twitter doubled my allowable characters. The becoming more well habit is always challenging...especially working late into the evening. Another is the "finding more balance" habit as life's stresses continue to happen. #wearewayne

A1: I never eat breakfast in the morning! 🤦🏼♀️The routine of morning tasks at home coupled with collaborating with my colleagues the moment I get to school makes breakfast a tough goal to hit everyday. I choose sleep over food for sure. Appetite comes after 9AM. #Wearewayne

The students @WaynePrep need positivity in their life. Making it a habit of being positive everyday in front of the students can become difficult some days but for the most part being that positive ray of sunshine for them is well with the difficult days. #wearewayne

A1: I have a goal to read one book a month. It doesn't sound like a lot but I have already had a hard time finding time and not falling asleep. #wearewayne
A2: It is usually pretty easy to start strong on any habit change. However, when our normal tasks continue to occur, it is easy to slip back into handling them in the way we previously did. Thus, making it more challenging to change a habit. #wearewayne
A2: cell phones! You're right they help and hurt. More specifically, social media when I'm using it to waste time instead of learn by chatting with colleagues. :) #wearewayne
