Jan 26 @ 8:16 PM EST
Q1 contd do you have an uhh ohh script in case something goes wrong
#Zonefballchat
jrmyhanson
Jan 26 @ 8:18 PM EST
A1) I've tried to script, but rarely follow it because of adjustments that need to be made. I need to learn to script better

Jan 26 @ 8:19 PM EST
A1 we used an opener script and had a few mini scripts of things we liked. We also had an uh oh script to get out of a hole

CoachMckieJr
Jan 26 @ 8:19 PM EST
A1: I script the first drive, but can never stay on it. Something I need to work on.
#zonefballchat
CoachBehnfeldt
Jan 26 @ 8:19 PM EST
A1) as a wing t team , it is hard to script because people run special defenses against us. We have ideas in place, no script

A1) I script first 5 plays of game, just to see formational adjustments
#Zonefballchat
Coach_Shea23
Jan 26 @ 8:20 PM EST
A1 no script. Have things we want to do early to see how the D responds, maybe first play scripted at the most
#zonefballchat
cdsamp45
Jan 26 @ 8:22 PM EST
A1 only things that bring us off script are lack of productivity and a glaring hole we can exploit. Find the holes

In reply to @jrmyhanson
CoachBehnfeldt
Jan 26 @ 8:28 PM EST
A2: we have about 8-10 run plays, 4 main pass concepts. Limited formations but answers to defense alignment. Wing t thinking
#zonefballchat
slade248
Jan 26 @ 8:28 PM EST
Script the first four of each half. Then it's based on field position and what the defense is giving us.

A2) We go with what we need! Few Formations push tempo!
#Zonefballchat
CoachBehnfeldt
Jan 26 @ 8:31 PM EST
A2: our 8-10 run plays are really about 3-5 concepts of blocking for OL to learn, real easy to teach.

#zonefballchat
CoachBehnfeldt
Jan 26 @ 8:36 PM EST
A3: this is the one I am curious about, I have run IZ/OZ, not mid zone. Have read a little about it, but not familiar.

#zonefballchat
JENKScoachGWOOD
Jan 26 @ 8:38 PM EST
A3 we run midline zone (A to BS C) and IZ (A to FS C) RB and OL all look the same. RB reads BSLB for Mid Zone and PSLB on IZ
#zonefballchat
CoachSMartin
Jan 26 @ 8:38 PM EST
A3) curious about it but also dont want to ruin how efdective we are at IZ! Our backs are very good at keeping IZ tite
