    A1: Having a student teacher changed me as a teacher. It drove me to always strive for more for my Ss and myself. Moving to a new building has been an opportunity to build upon that motivation to get out of my box and take risks. #3rdchat

    A4: Setting quarterly goals is a part of our routine. We will start the new year by updating our data notebooks and setting goals for the future. All of this data is maintained in their own personal binder for us to look back and reflect upon. #3rdchat

    A4: Our school is implementing #AVIDelementary and we decided as a staff to have Ss reflect in their agendas. Starting small and thought my 3rds could write one thing they learned at the end of each day. #3rdchat

    A4 We will continue our class goals carried over from 2017: self regulation, resilience and mindfulness. Students will take ownership over other goals through coaching during health lessons in the first few weeks back. I'll be modelling my own journey with my goals. #3rdchat

    I have done this with my students in a discussion board called "One Word" with grade 2 and 3... have also done #mythreewords and they have chosen 3 words to describe themselves. Some choose related to favorite things, others do it related to personality traits. It's fun. #3rdchat

      Me! I do it every year and think it works well. I find it is easier for the kids to stick to than resolutions.

    A6: Where in the World Field Trip. Students use Google My Maps to plan a virtual field trip. They will report out using @DoInkTweets and YouTube. This week’s student is working on our first trip...The Taj Mahal. #3rdchat
