The goal of #wvedchat is to provide educators an opportunity to connect, share, and learn from others by engaging in conversations around issues and topics in education.
We have a school @Twitter and just had a teacher challenge other classes to donate 100 can of food for our food drive. That is a positive image #wvedchat

A2: Our County has a very active twitter page. Schools have their own twitters as well. Many county leaders and teachers are also active educators on Twitter.
A3: Schools often don’t get the most positive image from media outlets. It’s important to share the great things you’re doing and create excitement in your community #wvedchat
I understand parents being rightfully frustrated at times...so often though, mob mentality takes over when negative issues are brought up. This happens in any group, though! #wvedchat
A1 don't really know what it looks or sounds like but I feel like it's taking our students, community, and school combining them and producing a quality education #wvedchat
A4: Personally, when the county started with Twitter I was hesitant. I know many parents aren’t on and I personally used it in a much different way #wvedchat
I know that when we (I) post things on Twitter I have to make sure that the kids are allowed to have their picture posted or that I have permission before hand #wvedchat
