A2: IMO, the greatest inhibitors are change and energy vampires. Change is hard, and comfort (status quo) is often easy...

Everyone knows an Energy Vampire - that person who thrives on sucking the positive energy out of others. They destroy progress!

Fidelity can be hard. Sometimes we rush for the sake of change and miss the need to move appropriately

A2: The immense pressure of reversing the mainstream inefficient culture. Considering that others will not buy in.

Q3: What strategies do you use as a leader to get beyond the inhibitors and build positive learning cultures?

A3: We must stay positive and focused. If we focus on the end goal versus the programs that get us there we succeed.

Celebration also matters. We must celebrate our small steps as if they are big leaps.

A3: We have to focus on what we can do. Collaborative planning, morning meetings, PLCs, & team meetings all support school culture.

A3: Partnering with other Ts, Ss, or staff that brung energy and purpose to the cause of changing the culture.

A4: You must have a plan of immersion. Know what you want to tackle first. Using patience and persistence are vital here.
