ah, ich vermisse Deutschland!!
Hi NJ here, reflecting with you tonight! Thinking about how to make challenges with into opportunities :D
A1: The first change this year: I tried an IPA in Spanish 3 for my Capstone!
A1 Using a lot more CI and active methods in my Latin 1 class; helped Ss learn lang more effectively
A1 I went all in for descriptors i/o #'s ....so they could tell me how they are doing
A1 one fairly large change was the curriculum for level 2- we switched to using units & also did a novel
do you have a link to some of your descriptor rubrics? :D
A1: using an IPA for finals in Sp3! Ready to rehaul more assessments now!
A1: I also brought in a lot of stuffed animals - which changed my class environment A LOT!
A1 I also taught Spanish 4 for the first time & also did two novels with them which was new
A1 tweaked my grading policy...again...
A1 Used DI more seriously, eg 2 weeks of parallel lessons. Paid off on # of Ss demonstrating Can-Dos at end of unit.
A1 Read novels with III (Felipe Alou) & AP (Guerra Sucia) Loved the input & cultural conversations they sparked
A1: I started in a new district and changed so many things. Most I'm ready to change again. Not satisfied with my current path
A1 I brought telenovelas into the class for the first time! Had hoped to make it HW, but made wildly successful unit instead!
A1: I went to (Spanish Quizbowl) for first time. LO AMAMOS!!!!
what did you do with them? I have some in my room already
A1, I went entirely IPAs for Spanish I this year and I'm really happy with the proficiency my Ss built as a result
The tweaking never ends! Me, I also grade a lot less https://t.co/DqsIttB7bW
A1 tweaked my grading policy...again...
A1 more discussing with them why/how we are doing what we do
A1: testing out new tech tools like and
A1 Started using MovieTalk this year! Amazing results!!
A1: all the changes that came w/having my very own classroom (vs traveling to 9 different rooms per day).
what didn't we do!? They were part of stories, rewards for good stuffs, in some activities instead of using peers
A1: also using a telenovela at the end thanks to ! 1 student is on episode 30 on her own!
A1: challenged students with more authentic reading over thematic units such as healthy diet and exercise. Their growth was ++
I love those! Puppets & stress balls, too!
seeing lots of novel attempts! Any tips for those of us wanting to try?
A1 Tried real-world homework. A few tweeks to make but it seemed to go well!
DO IT! I'm glad that I did with Spanish 2s although I do have things I would change for the next time
A1 new tech tools: Kahoot, Google Classroom
A1 I went deeper into my 'story' (graded reader novel) units as well...more independent reading
A1: tried lit circles a la ! Sharing is caring!
I went to a CI workshop and that was a new leaf for me. I've been on a path to more proficiency and this was a great help
Hola Marcy ! How'd you squeeze the CI in? https://t.co/IqsQJrL3ni
Hi! Marcy from CT. Increased use of comprehensible input. Q1
I want to do this next year!
The teacher's guide is a MUST! We did a Span II novel for Spanish III therefore it was really accessible
I would love a blog post! ๐ you have been on a roll recently!!
A1 I tried TALK via and LOVED THE RESULTS! I really got to see what students learned
I feel like I still can't find the right novel fit for my kids, though
doesn't t make such a BIG difference! I remember fightng for my own room! The thngs we language teachers have 2 beg 4! :(
same! We did Esperanza with 4s for content, not language & it was great
I think I'm going to start this next year! I was reading about it after last week's & it seems awesome!
Come see it at ACTFL, people! : )
yeah...my unit required a little subversion. But we're about to rewrite curriculum anyway
Felipe Alou was a surefire hit for my students, even the non-sporty kids. It's a great story!
they're great! We read La llorona, Felipe Alou, and Vida y Muerte en la Mara Salvatrucha
What sort of things are you looking to see in a novel?
This was actually the first year I didn't make major changes, which was a good thing
Cool! Which workshop/where/with whom?
A1 I graded one on-demand writing assignment without making a single mark on students' papers. Just circled on the rubric.
my upcoming group is really into fantasy/videogame type stories...Afraid existing won't connect
A1: this was the first year I didn't make major changes- which was a good thing
RT:@SraShawSpanish@Marishawkins yeah...my unit required a little subversion.But we're abt2 rewrite curriculum anyway
Lit Circles are totally worth it! I was SO proud of my level 3s. Watching neg of meaning was priceless!
Getting Vida y Muerte next year! Which level do you recommend using it with? I'm debating 3 or AP
What about Llorona? That may be too hard?!?
A1: Yes! Lit circles were a new win for for the year! https://t.co/T8XA7TIAnw
A1: tried lit circles a la ! Sharing is caring!
A1 I tried more tweeking of feedback & reflection but no HUGE changes...
Donna from Maryland. A few minutes late. Distracted by Orioles having a good 2nd inning.
OMG, you know you CAN do the mobile teaching, but it saves SO MUCH STRESS to be stationary!
What is TALK? Is it like MovieTalk?
yes! It seriously revolutionized the way I taught this year. Amazing being able to set up a lesson ahead of time.
A1: this was the first year I didn't make major changes; usually I try to do too much
I am looking for level 1...I will have to check it out, because that sounds possible.
A1: I also tried (key word TRIED) teaching online Spanish this year.
Talk Accuracy Listen and Kind, but I will let post her page
w/ in Lincoln. I was very inspired!
which would you say was the most effective?
A1 I went big on negotiating meaning "You can use any word you want as long as you can explain it"..huge growth
nice! That's how I started too!
Ah, so just the other day? Cool!
Guys! Grades are SOOOO not done where I teach.
Llorona may be too hard....
Nothing like tapping into *their actual lives*! https://t.co/D26RWVLA8u
A1: challenged students with more authentic reading over thematic units such as healthy diet and exercise. Their growth was ++
continuous inclusion of the most famous was the most effective. Also helped teach authentic names.
I love it too!! Great for quick interpersonal grading!
A1 if I go by my blog I went from "moving to descriptors" to "forget the fluff"
A1 skyped with Columbians!we had 5 laptops with skype so students worked in pairs & rotated. Kids exchanged twitter and snapchat
yes! My 4's were not that into it (bc) 1st yr if novels after all textbook, but 3's โค๏ธed.
oh wow! was it as exciting as it sounds??
I am excited to learn more from you about the Great Fluff Purge.
Can someone explain what lit circles are? I think my first time around no one saw my question!
absolutely. When I'm mobile, I have to keep in mind what I need to carry w/me = limiting. A room changes all that!
A1 I started using for e-portfolios. It helped me change how I assess my Ss progress. Ss are talking much more.
some people try to overhaul everything at once (I did a little of that too) but what WORKED was little things
I'm so seeing things now that could be taken out & change
A1: Also tried penpals with 's kiddos before I got too busy with life to maintain! ?
Amen - small changes...big impact...small change some more! https://t.co/wx10eYDvb9
some people try to overhaul everything at once (I did a little of that too) but what WORKED was little things
I'd love to know more about how you used ! Did you write about it any where or have ex to share?
Good point! You just helped me realize maybe my biggest change this year was not changing as much as usual!
Just learned about Seesaw last week. Will be trying to use it next year!
I tried doing everything all at once too...TOO HARD!
Whew! Some great new moves this year! Who's ready for Q2?
That's very good advice. Thank you for sharing.
RT: absolutely.When I'm mobile, I have2 keep in mind what I need2carry w/me=limiting. A room changes all that!
A1: I didn't get defensive defending proficiency based language learning. I just modeled and helped them try some new ways.
Oo! Less work, more thinking?
Rockstar! Mil gracias! Can't wait to learn!
Yes....one lesson, one unit, one grade but its hard to hold back when you want real change! https://t.co/Ka21yfx7XM
I tried doing everything all at once too...TOO HARD!
Are you near NJ? I will be presenting about Seesaw this summer.
Piratas from has some adventure and antics. Not fantasy, but could be a start.
oo, did you have a post on that?
Unfortunately not! I'm living with the corn in Iowa! :) Will you share goodies?
It started w/ trying to pace myself before finals & save time, but ended up like that, yes. Happy with results.
it was awesome chance to connect with sm group who struggled in sp1 & got to dive into culture that interested them
I used level 3 w my span 2 preap. Lots preterite and imperfect besides being a really good story
Okay, wanting to incorporate novellae more wherever I go next so this sounded like something interesting, thanks!
that is a big accomplishment! Sometimes I get so frustrated!
A2 That if you tell 'em 'why' & ask them to reflect after you create 'magical commitment to using the TL'
A2 my big AHA moment was that I can lead a horse to water, but that is all
A1: o yeah! Pen pals were a lot of fun! We will have to do them again! https://t.co/4RMeROAghc
A1: Also tried penpals with 's kiddos before I got too busy with life to maintain! ?
A2: my biggest Aha was when I finished the IPA- I saw how well it could work fully throughout the year
I was better at keeping reg. weekly features: miercoles musical, silla caliente, radio Tuesday... https://t.co/H9XJVmySGc
Must be a Maryland thing.
A2 When I write a lesson, think about what my least capable/focused S will be doing throughout...and plan for that. ?d
you know, that may be the best change of all!!
A2: accepting things I can't change and noting things I can and making a decision to do so. I felt free and am ready to move fwd
I'll keep thinking! I had such a good experience & now I want everyone to enjoy them, as well!
YES! YES! YES! https://t.co/gJH2TLJcrC
A2: accepting things I can't change and noting things I can and making a decision to do so. I felt free and am ready to move fwd
A2: That students are receptive to songs, commercials, short films, news clips for learning.
A2 My big AHA! was making expectations simple and CRYSTAL CLEAR and returning to them FREQUENTLY
Words to live by....and keep your sanity... https://t.co/RZfdpuiIjr
A2: accepting things I can't change and noting things I can and making a decision to do so. I felt free and am ready to move fwd
Q2 My moment was realizing that while I've always done lots of interp. listen., w/ my move to , I focused too much on reading
A2: Teachers need chunking too!
A2: explaining proficiency levels to (grade 1-5) students is not only possible, but very motivating for them.
oh man, we LOVE sharing blogs on !
Running a little behind! A1 We started doing miรกucoles (showing cat memes and videos on Wednesdays) and the kids loved it! ๐บ
A2 This year, pedagogically, was more about lots of little aha moments
A2 That if you create compelling stories with recurring characters, Latin 1 will learn material w/out boring grammar lessons!
A2 My moment was realizing that while I've always done lots of interp. listen., w/ my move to , I focused too much on reading
YES! Clarifying time and place for looking things up--and policies for it--made a huge difference! https://t.co/sEMH2wOePl
A1 I went big on negotiating meaning "You can use any word you want as long as you can explain it"..huge growth
OH YES!!! I write "Purpose/Intentions" on board to focus before interaction & tie the reflection to that https://t.co/pbFxHk3ysF
A2 My big AHA! was making expectations simple and CRYSTAL CLEAR and returning to them FREQUENTLY
A2: Big A-Ha moment: understanding IPA and Content-Based Instruction.
break down with visuals they can understand :D
A2 have TV & Media links for
A2 I've also realized that I need to do more speaking with my students as in they do more speaking
ME GUSTA! Much better and clearer than "I can" platitudes https://t.co/krtEuRH7SO
OH YES!!! I write "Purpose/Intentions" on board to focus before interaction & tie the reflection to that https://t.co/pbFxHk3ysF
A2 My big AHA! was making expectations simple and CRYSTAL CLEAR and returning to them FREQUENTLY
A2: Also, working on more interpersonal skills after tons of TPRS and CI with kids. Great ideas from Von Ray + PQAs from Martina.
A2 Doing improv activities with AP students every Thurs. The creativity and humor they infused into convo was amazing!
Yr4 in midst of 90 min TL interpersonal - they practiced explaining 'unique words' & put into action today
I felt like I did a lot of listening but some of my kids said that was the hardest part of the final
absolutely! We use the ice cream cone visual. They love it.
A2: Explaining language performance to students with ice-cream scoops analogy!
this is great. Love the idea. Making a note to self for August!
I have learned that they LOVE to create with language if we give them a way too! &learn
A2: Another A-Ha - sharing the heck out of what we do in my classroom via emails, Twitter, etc for local community.
using a question at the start and the end of the lesson " Can you..?" "ยฟPuedes...?"
So true! I just wandered around & listened as it unfolded
YYYYEEEESSS! This is where we MUST focus! https://t.co/JzpM4zCfEX
A2 When I write a lesson, think about what my least capable/focused S will be doing throughout...and plan for that. ?d
A2 Another personal AHA- I cannot let my kids down just bc the stability of my position/ job has changed
Still has historical setting, but, well, it also has a Vampirate.
YES! They love little insights into other pop cultures!
A2: that students will believe in themselves if we believe in them.
A2 Big A-HA moment this year: Letting go of curricular needs to stop and have fun just being silly in target language!
maybe that was my problem with stories this year...need more connectivity
Painful learned results after many failed NBPTS tapings...
so good! I felt like I was pulling teeth sometimes then kids wondered why interpersonal was so hard!
A2 Ss wanted more cultural tidbits like we practiced for Spanish Quiz Bowl . They love any cultural info!
I personally recommend the teacher's guides for beginning with novels. LIFE SAVERS! Then adapt as needed.
A2 Ss teaching Ss,, Socratic,, also I work with college/adult age so do to have them go to a French https://t.co/VP8IzOnOKi
I love them too and I love resources!
It really taught me that if you bring tell them 'why' they will respond!
Failed? How so!? I think I'm starting this summer...
one of my goals for next yr especially with high school students!
saaaame here. That's another AHA--I've been picking clips that were too advanced for their level
Tech glitches, Ss called out of class, 2 Ss making random "le Donald" comments, lack of ...
More important for kids to connect. First novel try el capibara con botas. 55 words, enviro
RT : I love them too and I love resources!
Interesting! Any pattern in how they came about?
A2 once I didn't reflect after an interpersonal activity & st said "What no reflection???"
Yes! Real life stories or cheesy stories are great!
hm. I tried environmental angle in this community before . :(
"le Donald" has had quite the negative impact this year. :(
I think this can be so hard! Esp when I hear it clearly and know that they should know the words
Wowie zowie! Do you have a favoriate source of improv games?
man, tough crowd! We'll find you something! Thoughts on Vampirata that mentioned?
A2: probably now, realizing that I don't have to change everything all the time and things can still go well ...
You guys are blowing my mind! Ready for Q3
Puma cuts down rainforest. Capybara is largest rodent in world.
It's just one activity we do every week. Ss get roles & situation & have to improv the convo. Blog post to come!
You'll love it!!! I just shared some ways to use it w in response to her tweet.
Which just might help as much as anything to meet some curricular goals!
A3: biggest risk was IPA for my M.Ed. I believe students were successful from 2 yrs of CI and TPRS. I was/am SO proud of them!
All are not created the same. Even volume must reviewed for usability. https://t.co/gvqyvl765O
I felt like I did a lot of listening but some of my kids said that was the hardest part of the final
I'm looking forward to that next year since they have a bit of experience w/novels
A3 my biggest risk was talking Sp 4 into my hands; I think Ss enjoyed it too
Make it interesting for them. My students cant "connect" with immigration but they enjoyed reading Esperanza
I was just going to say blog post porfa!
A3 Being asked to teach French 1 this year with limited proficiency of the lang. Learned along with kids. They did really well!
A3: I also risked devoting time to and I have learned so much about other languages, advocacy, etc. Hoping to do even more!
not that I noticed...lots of students with widely varying needs this year
A3: Reading a novel with my Spanish 4 students: La Guerra Sucia. It was a tough read, but they learned alot.
I have started to ditch more of the textbook! It is time consuming but I feel I will use even less next yr!
A3 Was very, very honest in my communications with parents. Big deal in this community.
Felicidades! I used to be super intimidated by Sp. 4/5, but I believe I can b/c of CI and Content-Based Instruction.
RT : I have started to ditch more of the textbook! It is time consuming but I feel I will use even less next yr!
A3: Still has to be not giving grades - it was a tougher crowd this year
This is one of my goals in teaching. Use less of the textbook and more compelling input! https://t.co/QqrwUT0hNN
I have started to ditch more of the textbook! It is time consuming but I feel I will use even less next yr!
A3: my biggest risk was taking school who only knew textbook & pushing head first into story units, novels & CI
- Jill from NOVA late this evening - enjoying beautiful weather! A3 trying to incorporate social justice issues into curriculum.
Many of us are on this journey from 'textbook drives program' to 'textbook can be a resource if you want' https://t.co/84QuuiiQwS
I have started to ditch more of the textbook! It is time consuming but I feel I will use even less next yr!
A3: i started testing Ss in a different way than i was used to. Didn't like it. Prefer another way and I'm reconnecting next yr
Anything creative you would like to share with us?
was that their first novel? Building up and use readers that are i+1 for Ss
I still feel like I could have done better, but I think that is normal
A3 Biggest risk was teaching Span II for first time. LOVED it. Let me rephrase, the STUDENTS made me love it. Miss 'em already!
Q3 Went to go watch some local rock stars on my PD days & .My lessons are as close to 100% TL as they can be.
A3 My biggest risk was probably inviting local amigos in to observe my class. Tough to organize, but super fun community!
A3: included social issues as a topic to research for our Lang. Faire. Students produced amazing artistic representations!
Can you share more about your new testing? Is it an IPA? Something else?
I wasn't creative. I was very, very factual & proactive. Offered a lot of tangible strategies.
Q3 My lessons are more comprehensible & there has been a big shift in what Ss can DO w language.
I love it! I would keep teaching for a few more weeks just to teach some of my students more!
A3 told embarrassing stories about my L2 errors (once mixed up 'barefoot' & 'naked' -don't ask!). I'm learner too, mistakes r ok!
A3 My biggest risk was doing more CI a la & . It's not my personality, but my kids loved it & so did I
Agentes secretos? 100 words, da Vinci code with Guernica.
Same! I'll have most in 3 next year but class dynamics will change. Hopefully they'll be just as good!
LOVE this. I should get parents involved more... https://t.co/4oxqnt19GY
A3 Was very, very honest in my communications with parents. Big deal in this community.
We will not have a textbook next year for our MS courses. We have worked on creating thematic units. https://t.co/LFw5aJB9IT
Many of us are on this journey from 'textbook drives program' to 'textbook can be a resource if you want' https://t.co/84QuuiiQwS
I have started to ditch more of the textbook! It is time consuming but I feel I will use even less next yr!
I *still* remember my college prof sharing these (& shared). She said "up yours" instead of "bottoms up" for a toast!
Ooohh I didn't know was on Twitter!!
A3 Soooooo many! Where do I start?
Sorry - it was Senior Awards Night and I wanted to cheer on my French babies.
Amanda. Amiga. Who among us could not do better? That's what we're all here for! https://t.co/bSFP50Gszr
I still feel like I could have done better, but I think that is normal
A3 becoming a part time teacher(3 days/week). But now I have more time to lesson plan &be involved in the profession in other ways
This might be the most invigorating of the year! It's pumping me up to teach again :)
My every day thought...and I've learned to give myself a break https://t.co/jQFG4fMKTt
Amanda. Amiga. Who among us could not do better? That's what we're all here for! https://t.co/bSFP50Gszr
I still feel like I could have done better, but I think that is normal
Oo, would love to hear more about this! Have a hard time catching ss interest...
Sounds great! Can you give examples of some of the themes of these units?
A3:also joined KSWLA and want to get more involved. I'm nervous and excited. I'm a bit of an introvert so it's tough for me!
A3 Biggest Risk was taking a leave of absence the year before to travel to South America and then coming back this year
YESS! Taking a step back to make sure what they're getting is comprehensible and repetitive! AMAZING results
I'm doing this nxt yr! (half time, every day). Would you ever go back to full time?
I am a in not using a textbook in my WL dept....
A3: I have to remember the payoff isn't fully seen after just 1 yr.
I don't know about , but I like to look at AP and IB themes for inspiration
Lucky! How did you make that work? Any tips?
A3 Spending less time teaching and more time coaching others & creating resources. Feedback suggests good move, but I miss Ss!
Who's up for Q4? Ready to look forward?
I know you're doing amazing things! I think after 2-3 years you truly see the benefits.
A4: Looking forward to new school, part time Spanish 1 + 2 with !
not in the near future. Want to wait until my own kids are in school.
Yes! Let's chat! https://t.co/2RkiQGc0pA
Oo, would love to hear more about this! Have a hard time catching ss interest...
A4 Getting further into ! Safe to say Ss are looking forward to it too!
A4: looking forward to less change (in a way) due to mult teachers having same levels. That's a 1st for me.
A4: looking forward to less change (in a way) due to mult teachers having same levels. That's a 1st for me.
A4 I will be 'trying' the 'ditch' I have a self-funded leave coming Feb-June2017.. putting my program in another's hands
A4 I really want to try turning the passion project unit into a passion semester, with different goals along the way
Gracias! It's hard to leave program you built & start over from scratch. You are lucky to me into a CI school!
A4: I currently have only 1 prep (& I taught it this yr.) I want to get down and dig into some big curriculum revamp
A4 I want to try more TPRS, PQA, etc. I've never done a MovieTalk yet either.
A1 I am looking forward to change; to more TL on my end; more goal-setting, better feedback to Ps & Ss; more research on grading
A4: so looking fwd to incorporating more CI. And also going "blended" & taking steps to connect more with my Ss
Do the themes revolve around specific vocabulary clusters or more around specific tasks to accomplish?
I use it w/ III & AP. Sent home permission slip first. Questionable scenes at times but worth it (IMHO)
Q4 I need to to do some curriculum work over the summer.
A4 I need to simplify my grading system. I'm currently running 2 parallel systems: Can-Dos & assessments. It's too much data.
DUDE. ME TOO. I get the basic idea, but I just can't get them worked in yet!
A4: Ditching my textbook, and, using more units infusing culture, social justice and comprehensible input.
Also my kids keep asking for more projects- trying to reconcile this with my proficiency grading
has some great resources for El Internado!
A4 on a personal note I will try to see peeps in person at and maybe more!
A4: well I will be ditching the first part of the school year while on maternity leave ๐ถ๐ผ
the feedback and grading sound like HUGE orders! How will you handle it?
A3 Prepping kids to consciously communicate with loved ones outside school about what they are doing in Spanish class.
4 1/2 years in the saving...hoping I can attend a few US-based conferences too ...
I LOVEmy blended class! Let me know if you have ?s
A4: unveiling NNELLcafรฉ, an PD I developed for . Exciting working w/a great group of people to make it happen
little by little- I just want to have more balance in my modes- really focus on planning backwards
Can we squeeze in one more question before takeaways?
Yes! Getting to move into later seasons is so much fun for everyone! https://t.co/GLgLFLJMep
A4 Getting further into ! Safe to say Ss are looking forward to it too!
We hope so, too! Share the [common]wealth!
This is why I wanted to go to iFLT. Can't go due to looking for work for next year (or possibly moving by then).
A4 Looking forward to starting Conversation Tables w/AP during our school-wide study period
A4: already A4??! More thematic units, of course! More authentic resources! And play as always!
Q5 Q5 Q5 What questions or issiues do you have now that you need solutions to for next year? https://t.co/OwtsvWyCpE
Q4: Hoping to share growth mindset with more teachers as we continue the .
A5 what will I be teaching?! haha I don't know where I will be teaching or what...
A5 The grading thing. I really love having data on individual Can-Dos but it gets hectic fast.
A5 (joking) will this change stuff never end? (not joking) Can I continue to balance change with a life?
A5 Is my next school going to be CI-friendly? How can I possibly go to ALL the conferences? These are just a couple.
So important! So different to see someone talk about how they do something than to watch a master in the classroom!
A5: I'm hoping to juggle an IPA/CI cyclical approach... I'm curious about how it will go.
A5 Y'all, I am really lost on how to purposefully fit a unifying text--TPRS novel or cartoon or whatever--into my Spanish I class
Q5 How to hold Ss accountable for Real World Homework. Some of them are easy to do w/o doing if you catch my drift
A5: I'd also like to discover more CI/TPRS friendly tech to work into my class. New school is 1:1.
Heck yeah! I condensed it down to data on reading, listening, speaking, writing--like proficiency guidelines
A5 how can I have kids see that it's still not about the 'mark' when that's what drives them still
A5 What can I do to have Ss look at learning as the goal, not the grade?
And do you assign each Can-Do a mode, then?
A5: I need a maternity leave sub! If you know of anyone who wants to teach Spanish in Iowa send them my way!!
What do you find the most challenging about it? Is it easier for you in other levels?
RT : A5 What can I do to have Ss look at learning as the goal, not the grade?
Yeah, this is a big one. Unfortunately, it's cuturally ingrained in our school systems.
the children's books I have worked well for that this year. I found a bunch that fit in my themes and used those.
A5 Need to make our daily routine project more easily done at school. Difficult for some students to work on it outside of class.
NEVAHH! And not joking, yes. If you're like me (& I know you are!) you'll find your non-negotiables & pare down
Same! I simplified mine a ton for next year. I have 20 options and no repeats except for of course
Are these hw activities ones that require Ss to speak to each other? I've struggled with assigning interpersonal hw
Yes ma'am! I squeezed interpersonal innto speaking bc that's mostly what speaking is for novices
Is there a blog post where I can learn more, perhaps? : )

Yea, that's usually my approach but I wish I could find the magic solution!
A5 We usually have kids make a daily routine video at home. Realizing this is not a great option for several kids. Need to revise.
