A1: Surround yourself with people who can get you out of your comfort zone while supporting you. Your PLN can provide you with insights, serve as role models and inspiration. #admin2b

A1. It is important because as one person you cannot have all of the experiences as a PLN. At one school in a city, we actually had a bear on campus. #admin2b
Over the last couple of years I have organizer a PLN around doing PLC work in HS. We meet about every 6 weeks and share what we are currently doing or trying in our school around PLC's. Interventions, common assessments, etc.. #admin2b
a2: Thanks to Twitter, I have enjoyed expanding my diverse PLC. I see value in having a virtual as well as an in-person PLC. I believe both PLCs bring different benefits/opportunities. #admin2b
Sorry late to the game. Matt Shafer Assistant Principal at Ryle HS. The PLN work with @Dixie_Principal and the other principals has been a game changer for my outlook on PLCs. Also, @RhondaMoore11 and @tvdiet#Admin2B
A2. Both F2F and virtual are important. It starts with one relationship at a time. Some are going to happen, same district, the virtual are my favorite. #admin2b

A1: a PLC is a must for an administrator. As educators we have an obligation to keep learning and a trusted PLC outside your building is the best way to do that #admin2b
A4. For me, when I have felt I have learned as much as they are willing to share. This seems to be approximately every two years, give or take. #admin2b
A2: I am fortunate to have worked with many great educators around and outside of the district. I try to keep in touch with them and then seek out opportunities to expand that network. In person is much better for me because I process and learn through conversation #admin2b
A4: Your network should motivate, inspire, and support you to stretch yourself and make you better. Once that doesn't occur, it's time to find a new tribe. #admin2b
A4: i am not really sure of that. People have left my PLN because of new jobs taking them in different directions. But I guess if I don't find value and am not growing I might leave. #admin2b
Sorry to jump in so late. This is a great topic! A PLC is about so much more than common planning and assessments. It’s about professional growth and it takes on many different forms. Keep up the great work everyone! #thebestisyettocome#admin2b
Often we get lost in our own building. This also is an answer to Q4. While there is great learning in the building, those outside can offer great perspective and new ideas. #admin2b
Thank you for joining #admin2b tonight and special thanks to my rockstar teammate @GenieneD for facilitating the convo. Remember, your "network is your net worth."
