Dyslexic son says now he can use Google speech to text in Google Docs. He says it is super accurate. It is like Christmas 4 him

A1 I tweeted a picture of my Ss using my evaluation folders to my school for parents and . Lots of informal learning happening!
A2 - it's fun to talk udl with parents - they don't get the letters but they LOVE the engagement their kids talk about

A2: we've forged partnership with an alt school for kids with behavioral/emotional issues--both our staffs are doing UDL trainings

Q3 Removing any of the barriers to learning in my online courses!
A1: my own 4 year old wanted to listen to a story on my phone so she could "read" the actual book better
The engagement and emotion make it extremely memorable for them to apply in own classrooms bc they experience it.

I feel that with all the differentiation and inclusion of my resource Ss along with technology UDL goes hand and hand right?
My goal this year has been to take UDL to students...our district's school wide learning outcomes are based on UDL guidelines.
A3 as a staff, we are dipping toes in the water and using a google doc to record efforts and impact. Doc will be used as resource
A3) '16 goal: Keep trying sync up MI UDL initiatives to form the MIUDLARMY by building a Professional LMS w/tons of UDL pieces
