A1: In 2002, I left teaching to enter the business world. After five successful years, I left a career that I loved and returned to the classroom with many new skills and a deeper appreciation of being an educator. #pln365
A1: I would say going from teaching elementary to secondary. I said I’d never do it, but I found a true passion for teaching that age group and now use that RISK as fundamental experience as an AP at that level. #pln365

A1: i switched from a premed track to an arts education after realizing art is in my blood. I learned so much getting my bachelors in science and apply it in the artroom to this day...stuns the kids when math and science facts come flying out #pln365

A1: I went back to college with two toddlers at home and a husband who said go try. Didn’t know if I still had a brain in my 30’s but found my second home in a classroom. Been there ever since and still filled with wonder. #pln365
A1. I took a professional risk by accepting my current role in higher education as a college administrator after 20 years in K-12, with 16 years as K-12 administrator. However, it is paying off because all of my experiences are helping with successes. #pln365
A2: as an art teacher I have no access to the students data so it’s based on if they grasped the art concept, enjoyed the project, improved their skills and use of materials that clue me in #pln365
A2: as a motto of mine....relationships, relationships, relationships! They are the building block of all essential learning and lifetime successes! #pln365
