Question 1: Do you have a school newspaper? If so, what do you report on?

A1: 's Kodiak High School has a great daily video news broadcast that students write, create, & produce.

Congratulations, That is awesome! Sports & Entertainment are also great ways to incorporate news.

A2: Love to allow Ss to read newspaper during independent rdg time. So many kinds of articles, kids can find what they like.

Yep. We use Fakebook to create their own R&J social media posts and we've also read R&J as text messages.

A4: No classroom=no classroom newsletter. Have a dusty blog though. Want Ts to have Ss blog about daily events.

The students really wanted to get a pet. Had to discuss what pet, what they need, cost. Write up process for parents to read about

A3 with newspapers in schools is great print news source. I'm a google news user. Classrooms use variety of sources.

We talked to elders about what it was like growing up in Fort Yukon compared to nowadays. Global warming has affected a lot!
