Q1) What are some assessment tasks that can be achieved with tech that cannot be achieved through traditional assessment means?
A1) tech allows a variety as opposed to traditional tests. Examples: graphic responses, performance-based tasks, and other media.

Hello ! What are your thoughts on technology and assessment?
Yes! Easy to implement and easy to see results.
Because I work in two libraries I am always looking for efficient ways to assess my kids. It is hard b/c of the class sizes and
and limited time we have together. I am testing a book trailer video by 2nd and 6th graders. Slow process.

Tracking data is almost always easier with tech! Nice!

As part of the tech department, I hear ya! Just remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
lucky for me I use to be liaison, so my tech guy likes me a lot and helps quickly! Go Brian!

I use Kahoot in group setting. Kids love to see results right away.
Plus they get fun music and prompts while they're waiting. ❤️️

A4) Of course, 's Lesson Plans allow a real-time feedback in assessment. Plus allows students to work at own pace.
I want to turn part of my closet into a screening area . someone said just put up green poster board.
Yes, anything green will work! My first green screen was green bulletin board paper.
. yes or green paint or even a green piece of cloth.
you can also do book review with or using VR
Also, my green paper was taped on the door to custodians closet. B/c that's where we could find room.
Talk about doing some app smashing! Love this idea!
Q5) How can technology help with accessibility with assessments?
A5) Ability to change font size/color,text to speech, bilingual dictionaries all increase accessibility of assessments.
A5 Mobility - secondary Ss can stay on top of learning from anywhere
A5) Had a student who was able to control computer using Dwell Clicker and special WebCam when arms were not an option. Empowering.
