My favourite #cesicon memory is from #tmcesi in 2012. I walked into my first CESI weekend and the energy in the room was unbelievable. I walked away from that evening with lifelong friends. The TeachMeet is a must! #edchatie

For me, the strength of the #cesicon#tmcesi community is passion AND compassion. Educators in the community care about people and pedagogy as much as the technology. It's a community of practitioners that is open, supportive, and inspiring. #edchatie

We've been thinking about ways in which we can support and include new presenters and attendees. We agree that it can be daunting! #cesicon#tmcesi#edchatie

'Wellbeing' is best learned through real-life situations, not in frustrating, tick-box SPHE-style classes. 400 timetabled hours of has the potential to wreak havoc on a student's intellectual wellbeing #jcreform#edchatie
A2: The wisdom of the crowd. Diversity. Simplicity really with the Google group - just a plain old mailing list that keeps the think ticking over. Grassroots movement makes it stronger that something funded or a project. #cesicon#edchatie
Q2 Yes, the warmth, genuine caring, and the real interest of attendees in what each other is working on and experiencing - is very affirming - it sends you back to base with a full well - and from that we can help fill the wells of our students... #edchatie

#A2 - I would say a strength is that it caters for teachers starting out on their journey or dipping their feet to old hands learning new tricks. I think unfortunately there is a perception among some who have never engaged that it is for total tech heads. #edchatie

That was such a great workshop though Frieda- your students were amazing and you actually didn't need any tech in the end- it was you and your students telling your story and sharing your skills and expertise- which is what I love most about #cesicon#edchatie#tmcesi
