#SatChat A1b Before my first #EdCamp, #EdCampWestTexas, I was really lacking context about how Ts (I’m a parent, grandparent, not a T) go about leveraging tech to teach. I was clueless about Arizona’s standards and how everything tied back to that. Most don’t methinks.

I’m here at NE Academy in @OKCPS w @sfryer, attending the district sponsored informational session for parents & students. Our first time to visit this school 🏫. We have so many campuses in #OKC! That is one reason I love attending #Edcamp events like @EdCampOKC
When my mentor @lucasgillispie and I hosted #edcamprfd in 2016 our Superintendent @ReevesTravis & Asst Super @reinhardt1200 both attended! It meant so much to have their support that day! It’s a shame more admin don’t follow their & YOUR lead & join in exp like #edcamp!

Sad that kids have no problem finding wonder before we round them up for compulsory education.
