awesome job @teacherfeast presentation at #ICE18, as well as SIT, IlliniCloud, Virtual Book Club and all the other presentations. eSports was awesome too!
All of the discussion at #ice18 about authentic assessment and the relevancy of homework has already caused me to critically think about the homework I'm collecting and if it's the best tool to help my students learn.
@alicekeeler I've been back in school for 15 minutes and I'm already wondering how I can develop better tools to reinforce and assess learning than the ones I assigned while I was at #ice18 Thanks for the great ideas on how to get rid of homework that doesn't work!
Dear @Flipgrid + all the #flipgridfever fans, My session went well, but forgot the selfie with my group! Thanks for the swag, my attendees LOVE the tool (just like I predicted)! So many mentions all week @ #ICE18 Sharing pics after the fact! Filled with ideas to share!

I watched in amazement how the 4 officers gently place handcuffs on a white man and no guns were drawn not even as a precaution. There was not yelling, no loud speaker directions. IT WAS SOO VERY GENTLY DONE #SHAME#CivilRights#PoliticsToday#Music#IFB#ICE18#PoliceKillings
@jameseichmiller Thanks for a great session on @geogebra at #ICE18 yesterday! Loved getting to see examples of how it can be used for discovery in math class.
Took away so many awesome ideas at #ICE18 and was inspired to try Quizlet Live with my students today. They absolutely loved it! Thank you @sschroederteach for the exciting PD and the resource #RoyBulls#d83shines
We love the superimpose app for creating PNGs (images with transparent backgrounds-save "mask as png") so that we can animate them. That's how the 1st graders animated their fish paintings #steam#artsed#edtech#ICE18

Just spent the first part of my day sharing new ideas with teachers, admins, and students. New learning space designed with brain based strategies, an esports team, and apps...so many apps. Thanks to all the presenters at #ICE18 also, any advice on starting esports?
Took @awelcome advice and tried something new in my classroom! It didn't work smoothly and it cause me a bit of anxiety, but my kids loved it! They even helped me figure out why @Flipgrid wasn't working (first time usuing it) #kidsdeserveit#techwin#happyteacher#ICE18
This makes me so happy! They loved it, I bet! Thank you for being such an inspiration to me! I love that you found something meaningful and immediately useful from Freaky Fast Feedback. #ICE18

I think this is my favorite picture from our #ICE18 presentation. I love that we were able to include a couple of minutes of happy faces of the littles before we started Chromebooks with Kinders. #wdsd7#gafe4littles#edchat
A2: Going to #edcamp; talking to other teachers and exchanging ideas has deepened my own experience. However, more recently, I attended #ICE18 for the first time with @elkorda@commonelements@ToriRose33 , and it is a fantastic experience! Your teaching will be changed! #ltnlu
A4: I need my twitter tribe as a support for exchanging ideas, and learning from others. Do not underestimate the power of a hashtag. #edtech#GoogleEDU#ICE18#ltnlu
I think I remember people posting for roommates last year in the @iste Commons. You might want to post or search there if you are looking for a roommate or place to stay. #ISTE18#ICE18

A2: My experience at #ICE18 has inspired me to continue taking risks and putting myself out there, instead of always lurking in the background. I have more to offer and need to be confident in that! #waledchat
A1: Sorry I’m late! Biggest win was getting to attend #ICE18 with staff and seeing the great presenting and networking of @_on11 and @megan_hacholski#waledchat
