Yes. I teach in a diverse area where Ss come from . Kids are still sheltered from global issues

Also- the way you frame convos matter- You have 2 help them put themselves in someone else’s shoes
not at all, but for many Ss they need it as a starting point.
I also taught through the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Helps kids understand injustice concretely.
