I agree! Some of my most balanced students surf everyday. And when they’re having a tough time, one of my questions is, “Have you been able to surf lately?” The answer at those times is always “no.” #MakeItReal
A1: One new thing to try in my personal life in 2019 is to ...hmmm. New. I know! Stop doing everything. Going to try to trim down my work schedule so that I have more time for the personal. #MakeItReal
A2 @ChrisGabriel02 and I have started doing some writings for our staff. I would like to continue to do those so our staff is exposed more to our thoughts and visions of our mission #Makeitreal
A2 I have approached my administration about starting a Game Club for kids after school. I just think it would help with SEL and social skills for those kids still looking for a niche #MakeItReal
A2: I'm taking on a 1 period a day role this year as instructional tech coach (was doing it in spare time unofficially), and it's challenging to work with preK-12 in this role. Am also working on #SEL for my class & District. Plan to create a District wide program. #MakeItReal
A2: I am planning an ancient China #pbl that I plan to co-teach w/ a gr6 teacher in the coming weeks. Should be fun! I'm an instructional support coach & love collaborating! #Makeitreal
We have a weekly staff newsletter that I have done for 5 years now. We do a writing in it every other week. We have written on topics like trust, failure, accountability to name a few. #Makeitreal
A2 I’ll make quick, clear video tutorials to help students identify & fix their writing issues. I think we tend to tell students DONT ____ but then we arent helping them find those mistakes or explaining how to easily fix them. Students can use the videos they need. #makeitreal
There is a chromebook in each classroom for the students to use and sign out. Some teachers turned it into a QR code as well for them to scan and fill out on their phones. #MakeItReal
A3: Coaching (sports) duties. I removed desks from my classroom last year, so now I'm looking at my schedule. More time to present and prepare for conferences/staff development will require I drop coaching VB & SB (asst.) or at least one. #MakeItReal

Always a great goal for leaders. I know a principal who moved his desk and computer to an open area in the hall to make sure he was out more! #MakeItReal
