If I could tell #premed students one thing, please pick a major that is not Pre Med (I’ve seriously seen this) that some colleges and universities have. Please please choose something that can help you get a job should you change your mind or med school doesn’t work out #MedEd

T1 #mededchat After reviewing a lot of this data in my past life as an assistant dean for #meded I can tell you that delays in taking the test typically did not benefit students. We found 5-6 weeks after the semester ended was the optimal study time.
Learnt something new- "Syndemic"
Syndemic is two or more diseases that co-occur, interact with each other and have common societal drivers.
Example - obesity, undernutrition, and climate change.
