A3 Ss have clear instructions & have time to respond so increases student engagement & is another tool or option for teachers to see learning & thinking #seesawchat
One strategy we use is we ask all students to hashtag # comments/reflections when they upload to seesaw to give context & reference to what they were focusing on so could be the skills attitudes #seesawchat T's model this in the beginning & in younger years
We are using it to determine 1. student perception of their knowledge & understanding 2. document prior knowledge 3. for another data point for differentiating groups #seesawchat
Like most things when things become routine Ss get more time efficient, our teachers are saying it is taking them a bit of time to set up but the benefits they see will outweigh the time investment - #authentic#visible#timely#seesawchat
