  • kobriengcs May 6 @ 8:12 PM EDT
A1: That is so difficult! But in my view, if I'm doing my job and teaching the content, then they'll be fine for the test. #21stedchat
  • nathan_stevens May 6 @ 8:12 PM EDT
Whatever you do, don’t do the same as everyone else? Loses effectiveness #21stedchat
    In reply to @Ms_Tuten, @barbersclass
  • dprindle - Moderator May 6 @ 8:12 PM EDT
A1: This is hard to balance. You need to keep it interesting but still hit the standards. A little easier in math because of the vertical nature of the subject. #21stedchat

  • DanKos3 May 6 @ 8:12 PM EDT
I practice question formatting/style using my content. We give ACT and ACT related tests. They have specific science formatting but the content varies. So it’s hard to teach to the test in that area. #21stedchat

  • mekncl May 6 @ 8:22 PM EDT
Change the test. I know, educators only have so much control but if it was less about memorizing info and more about critical thinking, problem solving & other life skills, perhaps everyone (teachers/students/principals) would be less stressed when the test came. #21stedchat
