Is it just me, or is teaching a lot like a Rube Goldberg machine?
We've got great tools, but I think we over-complicate the process often.
Then add Ss - their myriad needs, personalities, day-to-day stressors.
We get to the results, but take the long way some days!

Our school sent a robocall saying we are monitoring the situation & asking Ps to prepare for a 12:30 dismissal. Internally we are working on a 12:30 schedule. If we stay the whole day, then we'll have a 2-hr block to do finish what we need & work on lingering projects.
