Listen to podcasts, go to conferences, read books, move all my stuff to my new room, go to the beach, lay by the pool....balance and diverse learning. #UDLchat
A1: My UDL win was completing a year-long UDL pilot. The Ts like UDL so much that they are planning their own mentoring program for next year with their fellow Ts! #udlky#udlchat
A1 my best UDL win this year was finishing our first year of our district wide UDL rollout! The checkpoints and values around UDL continue to be more and more common place in Sanger! Couldn't be prouder or do it without @WilliamsAmy007 , @KT_Gault , and @CarteBlanchard#udlchat
I can't take credit, but my students wanted a ball pit, did all the planning/fundraising/purchasing as well as making the rules and procedures for it. It was a hit & gave students another option for seating. I think my "win" was that they knew they were empowered. #udlchat
A1 An activity I thought I'd try in the last week of school after I collected instruments/music...the Ss chose instruments, notation format, & a fave song to create an accomp.rhythm to. Excitement & engagement in the air for the 'win.' #udlchat#1PHASD
A1: win this year was making small changes to my room to give Ss ownership of the items there for them. Super simple with big impact #udlchat#WhoNeedsDoors
A2: Guide appropriate goal-setting: I want to learn some specific strategies Ts can use to make goal-setting a "thing" in their classrooms. #udlky#udlchat
A2 The checkpoint I'd like to dive into next year both in PD and for myself is 9.2 Facilitating coping strategies - As we talk about social emotional needs and as the rollout gets bigger! #udlchat
A2: I want a deeper dive into Checkpoint 9.3- self assessmentand reflection. I work w/hs students and their ability to reflect has a huge impact on their future success #UDLchat
A3. I hope to reflect more about Ss reflection. We seem to always be running. Innovation, creativity, and synthesis all happen when we get a moment to reflect. #UDLchat
A3: when offering choice in PD, I didn’t recognize until reflecting, how this caused some anxiety for some teachers. I have ideas how to support them better next year. #udlchat
A3: Not including my students enough in the process. Next year I want them to be more mindful and think about their best options for removing barriers. #UDLchat
As always, #UDLchat amazes. Thank you so much for participating and jumping in to help facilitate and participate in the chat, everyone! Special shout-out to @Jen_Pusateri & @AllisonAposey for the great questions. #UDL and flexibility go hand-in-hand. 🙌
A3: incorporating more strategies in my lower level class to promote reading instead of me reading the whole book aloud to Juniors. I want to empower them to feel ownership of the materials/text #udlchat
A1 ouhh I forgot! Another win. We had the high teachers design a lesson pitch that then the students graded based on this rubric for our min lesson studies. It just killed and gave the teachers an amazing student perspective https://t.co/1RahT2X7Mp#udlchat
Seriously, THANK YOU everyone for keeping #UDLchat going! Life happens sometimes (in the Twitterverse and in our learning environments) and y’all just exemplified #UDL on the fly. #UDLrockstars

#udlchat sorry to miss you all tonight...looks like another great chat! Was wrapping an #EF high school group with a song they created and sang together about some of what they learned this semester... Stay tuned to hear soon ;-)
