The #INeLearn hashtag is used for both asynchronous sharing and synchronous conversations. Include #INeLearn in your tweets if you want to share resources or questions with Indiana educators and school leaders. Asynchronously, the #INeLearn hashtag provides educators across the state of Indiana a central space for sharing. On Thursday evenings beginning at 8 CST/9 EST when you use the #INeLearn hashtag, you are joining a live conversation--the #INeLearn Twitter Chat. For one hour, we interact in real time having a virtual discussion.

Q1: What professional groups do you belong to which connect you to other teachers who help you flex those creativity muscles? #INeLearn#eLeadNWI#lcscedtech
Sorry I didn't realize earlier that there were tweetups for #INeLearn tonight; I would have hosted something around Indy. We could have watched the end of the Purdue victory together.
Greetings, #INeLearn. Been awhile. Hope you are all doing amazing. 1 day of prep left before students come back! Almost have all the sorting and planning done.
Couldn't make it out to a brick and mortar place, but here and inviting @dene_gainey and @bojansayspotato to the chat! Happy new year Indiana folks! #INeLearn
R1: Twitter in general and I wouldn't be the teacher I am today if not for my participation in #eLeadNWI and #INeLearn Summer of eLearning conferences.
R1: #eLeadNWI has made a huge impact on me. A group of people that has made and impact for me! #eVillageNWI, #LREC for some summer inspo, and of course twitter! Endless hashtags to follow! #INeLearn#FlipGridFever#tlap to name a few!
R1: The coach groups throughout the state are amazing PLNs! If you haven't connected with yours and you are a tech coach by any name, please join us! https://t.co/TzE5SF8ofr#INeLearn
My immediate coworkers, they rock, previous coworkers, colleagues from previous classes, and my own sought out experiences (Twitter, books, etc.) #INeLearn
R1: Indiana educators in general are great to collaboratewith and learn from. I’m especially lucky to be a member of @iceindiana#eLeadNWI@LREC18#inelearn
Chris from Bloomington. Teach world history for IU High School (private, online). Also co-leader of #sschat & co-host of @TalkinSS podcast. Tweeting from home as there was no central IN location. :( #INeLearn
R1: I’m a member of eLeadNWI which has really been a great experience I’m also an Apple teacher and Apple academy Learning specialist which has really broadened my horizons! #INeLearn
Q1: What professional groups do you belong to which connect you to other teachers who help you flex those creativity muscles? #INeLearn#eLeadNWI#lcscedtech
Starting to do some with eLead. I also follow several ISTE groups, and a Google+ group for global collaborations, but the name is escaping me. #inelearn

A1 (I know you said R1 but I like A1 better) - Twitter & INALI (Indiana New Administrator Leadership Institute) are the two professional groups that have sparked much growth for me! And the awesome leadership team around me @tomstoner24@dianargill@GMlynarcik & more #inelearn
Q1: What professional groups do you belong to which connect you to other teachers who help you flex those creativity muscles? #INeLearn#eLeadNWI#lcscedtech
And how could I forget that I am a part of the #eLeadNWI group! Although I don't make it to many meetings I am always refreshed and invigorated after meeting with them! #schk12#INeLearn
We do R instead of A just so everyone feels like they can respond, even if you don't technically have an "answer" But you do you. I like that you stick to your guns.
R1: I am a member of #ISTE and just love learning from my friends that have taken tech roles. Wether it's conversations and meet ups with fellow teachers or learning from students, I continually seek knowledge. I also like to learn on Twitter when I can. #INeLearn
R2: I'll still use twitter to connect but find myself connecting with the #PLTW community recently and it has pushed my thinking in a different way! I also planning on digging into some different books this year to help with this! #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R2 I try to not only follow people on Twitter that thing the same way I do but try to follow those that think differently than I so I get a different viewpoint #INeLearn
R2: For expanding horizons I have been following @pernilleripp and following all her book recommendations. She has some amazing ideas for breaking out of our own boxes. #INeLearn
R2) I have followed some new folks/added new people to lists that I've "met" through things like #DitchSummit, podcasts, blogs, conferences, etc. #INeLearn
R2 Get out there and expand your reach using social media. One of the best ways I have connected to people is through @twitter and @instagram.
Put yourself out there, people will find you. #INeLearn
R2) I think to big to recognize what you areas you are weak in and identify how to pursue improvement. Get outside the comfort zone of what we know and pursue what we don’t. #INeLearn
A2: I'm trying to work with people outside of the K-12 environment. I've been working with VU student teachers and the experience has been amazing! #INeLearn
A2/R2: I find it incredibly helpful as a K-6 teacher to be connected to others in education, not just those unique to K-6. I also am a fan of globally connecting. #INeLearn Thus the experiences collectively make us better.
R2: Follow teachers not in your district/state, join chats that interest you (for me, it’s #educomix) as well as those you don’t know much about and want to learn. #INeLearn
R2 Such a great reflection- taking risks gets us off the treadmill- try something new, network with new people- work with something that is challenging for us #INeLearn
R2: For me, I avoid the “echo chamber” by finding anything I don’t know/feel confident about, find an “authority” on it, and then say “teach me your ways!” #inelearn
R2 run a regular audit of your social media streams, especially ones you use for news/PD. If it all sounds the same, branch out. force yourself to follow the ones who raise the blood temp a bit. Ask your colleagues who to follow. (variation of what we teach in #digcit) #INeLearn
R2 It's important to take stock of the voices you hear in your pln. Do they all look like me? Come from the same background as me? If so, it might be time to reevaluate & broaden your pln. And as always, you don't have to follow someone just because everyone else does.
#INeLearn
R2: I try to follow and listen to chats/podcasts from outside education to expand my thinking. I really like @HarvardBiz for innovative ideas. #INeLearn
I also love this idea!!! I would love to meet new people and see other coaches in action! @dianargill brought this up & I cannot wait to see where it goes! #schk12#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R2: I was blown away by the different ideas I was able to learn as a new administrator at the Indiana Assistant Principals Conference this last year. Made me hungry for more ideas to get off the treadmill. Anything to get off a treadmill, I will try. ;) #inelearn
I also love this idea!!! I would love to meet new people and see other coaches in action! @dianargill brought this up & I cannot wait to see where it goes! #schk12#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R2: I need to monitor my Facebook and Instagram time and exchange it for more Twitter time. Reading more professional development and seeking more innovative classroom lessons are personal goals. #INeLearn
R2: Let’s connect across state more often! I’d love to learn more about not only what close by districts are doing but also what #SoWeLead and #eLeadNWI are doing #INeLearn
R2 run a regular audit of your social media streams, especially ones you use for news/PD. If it all sounds the same, branch out. force yourself to follow the ones who raise the blood temp a bit. Ask your colleagues who to follow. (variation of what we teach in #digcit) #INeLearn
R2: I hope to regularly check Twitter and particate in more chats. Also I think talking with other tech coaches will really help me this year! #INelearn
R2: Also reading books from outside of education. Taking suggestions from @jmattmiller and @mradamwelcome on this. Steal the Show by Michael Port is one of my faves! #INeLearn
R2 A2 R2D2 - you get the point! CREATE opportunity to get off isolation island for all! Schools should be a place where teachers, students, parents, HUMANS connect! CREATE and encourage by DOING it yourself! #JUMP#DO#inelearn
Me too! I will have my Master's in Learning Design and Technology this semester and it is so eye-opening hearing things from a business prospective during my classes. #INeLearn
our social media audit for the #digcit freshman is one of our most effective units. Gets the kids to think analytically about the sources of information and how much they put into cultivating voices. #digcit#newsliteracy#INeLearn - plus, they get to learn =CountIF :)
R2: Need to recognize our colleagues great work! I think a lot of teachers don't realize the great things they do since it's just what they do. #inelearn
R2 Through one of our global collaborations with Costa Rica, we found a school with a dual language program like ours at my school, but reversed because Spanish is their 1st language. Eager to learn more in 2019 from another country! #inelearn
R3: By empowering my Ss to give me feedback, I'm hoping that they will take a chance and offer it to other Ts as well. That's risky. Not all Ts would react positively to that. #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
I’ve met some really great educators on Twitter because of chats like this. Of course, many I have not met personally, except the cool kids like @letscreatemoore and @williamastein#INeLearn
R3: We have to be real and creative about how to support, especially with the resource of time. I try to lead as a servant. I am there to work for you and in support of you. #INeLearn
R3: Model, model, model and then support! Many of my teachers are insecure and once they see what tech can allow Ss to do it opens a new world for them. #inelearn
A3 Pick the Ts who are interested first, then go after those that are “half in”. After that the others will/will not follow but they can see how it works..Their choice...#INeLearn
R2 redux. also, useful to think about the WHY of various social media platforms. its more than FB for the grown-ups and twitter for the teachers -- if your newsfeeds, social media, and blogs are the bulk of your curation, its easy to fall into info-ruts :) #INeLearn
R3) The biggest heavy lifting happens at the beginning. Sell what you’re trying to sell as a life saver, show the benefits, guide the process, and most teachers once they realize the advantages, they run with it for the students #INeLearn
R3: Modeling is key to success! So many teachers say, “I can do this!”, after seeing a lesson done with their students. Start small and find areas that can make a huge impact with little changes! #INeLearn
R3: Find what sparks their interest/strengths and build curriculum goals, tech and design tools around their strengths. Isn't that what we do with students? #INeLearn
R3) I try to share tech tools/ideas with colleagues and with my students. I have a Padlet wall with content creation tools for students to explore & one that is shared with colleagues. #INeLearn
R3: Motivation requires modeling--share with enthusiasm. Also connecting to teachers personal interests and finding technology to build upon their passions. #sowelead#INeLearn
When an initiative is dropped down, even if I'm annoyed at the time consumption, I try to maintain a positive attitude. I feel comfortable with technology most of the time, so I will cheerlead to other teachers that are hesitant and help them. #INeLearn#growthmindset
R3: I try to share quick tech tips that are fast but pack a major “punch” what are those couple 2 minute life changers that you can apply to your lessons?! #INeLearn#eleadNWI
R2: Love the share/swap coaches idea from @dianargill So many ways to help teachers and kids statewide🙌🏻👩🏻💻❤️ Listen to more podcasts amd start one showcasing what our teachers are doing to share more #INeLearn
R3/A3 - By meeting them where they are! Set your expectations high because #kidsdeserveit but understand all teachers (like students) are not alike. MEET them where they are and start the long journey with 1 step!
#inelearn
The kids are always a little stunned when they see my RSS feed. when i point out that it is responsible for about half of my current event knowledge and they start calculating, its usually "no wonder you always know something about everything" :) #INeLearn
R3: Last year as new T in my district I was the only one in my dept given a new smart TV. When I asked why, I was told that I was one of the top technology-using teachers in the school. This from someone (me) who five years ago didn't even know what a PowerPoint was. #INeLearn
A3: I heard @ThomasJTobin say something at our online conference that has always stuck with me, and that is, focus on one small thing you can do to incorporate in your class. Doesn’t have to be big - just know you can do just one thing that was better than last time. #INeLearn
A3/R3: May sound a bit cliche but when it produces success, I talk about it. I challenge them to try it. I flex the success muscle, if you will. #INeLearn
R3 encouraging T’s to use their most valuable assets- S’s. Comfort levels rise when we know there is support right in our own room. #INeLearn#schk12#Highland4Tomorrow
R3:When an initiative is dropped down, I try to maintain a positive attitude. I feel comfortable with technology most of the time, so I will cheerlead to other teachers that are hesitant and help them. #INeLearn#growthmindset
R3: Encourage teachers to simply try, take baby steps, and get comfortable with tech glitches and making mistakes sometimes. #govslovebooks#mhsgovs#inelearn#schk12
R3: Modeling is key to success! So many teachers say, “I can do this!”, after seeing a lesson done with their students. Start small and find areas that can make a huge impact with little changes! #INeLearn
R3: highlight teachers who are having success -- not "look at this cool tool" but "look at how much the kids are learning/how engaged" ; Define edtech tools as the problem they solve or the goal the move the class toward - useless blinking & buzzing are for gameshows #INeLearn
R3: Get to know your people. Find out their interests and start small by connecting with their teaching passions. Once you get your foot in the door and show some benefits, it’s way easier to get some buy in. #INeLearn
Something that I have to remind myself as a coach daily. We definitely have to differentiate for teachers and for ourselves!!! LOL. I am learning this whole Twitter Chat thing as I am tuned in tonight! #eLeadNWI#INeLearn
Q4: Make changes by changing habits. What are some bad edTech habits you want to break this year and with what habits will you replace them? https://t.co/cRgcQKmr3M#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R4: Different tech tools have different features for Ts and Ss to take advantage of. I need to be more cognizant of how those features can best be utilized and in what order. #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
Q4: Make changes by changing habits. What are some bad edTech habits you want to break this year and with what habits will you replace them? https://t.co/cRgcQKmr3M#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
Q4: Make changes by changing habits. What are some bad edTech habits you want to break this year and with what habits will you replace them? https://t.co/cRgcQKmr3M#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R4: I need to take my own advice! I reassure overwhelmed teachers by suggesting we just try ONE thing at a time, but then I also feel compelled to really know and try ALL THE THINGS. #INeLearn
R3 (2): Listen to the teachers - they will tell you what they need. If they are asking for ways to observe themselves teaching, the answer is swivl, not another drill-and-kill with adaptive analytics. Go where the teachers are asking and the adaptation will follow #INeLearn
R4: one bad habit I have is sometimes chasing the next fancy thing in edtech. Have to hold on those “oldies but goodies” as the expression goes. #INeLearn
R4: Counting on my team too much when it comes to staying up to date on new EdTech strategies and resources. I need to take time to learn myself. #INeLearn
R4 I'm starting to force myself to take breaks from the edtech world. I can't give 100% to my teachers if I'm exhausted from trying to answer emails immediately and keep up with Twitter 24/7. #INeLearn
R4: I need to not allow interactions with teachers to be checkboxes, but to be points on a longer journey. I need to be better about follow-up w/teachers. #inelearn
A4/R4: Not ensuring my devices are fully charged! Lol. Expecting tech to work seamlessly lol. But seriously, I’ve n. Not spending all my dollars on tech I value. Evaluating the quality of edtech I use so it’s not overwhelming. #INeLearn
R4 I need to stop relying on my nanny called BlackBoard and spend more time talking to students face to face instead of digital feedback only.
#inelearn
R4 I want to focus on finding more ways to use the tools we already have than always searching for new tools. If I can use the same tools in different ways, it’s less overwhelming to teachers. #inelearn
Q4: Make changes by changing habits. What are some bad edTech habits you want to break this year and with what habits will you replace them? https://t.co/cRgcQKmr3M#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R3 Get the teachers into the makerspace. Show them that risk taking can be its own reward. Let them feel the thrill and the fear -- reminder of what education is like from the other side :) #INeLearn#MakerEd
Q4: Make changes by changing habits. What are some bad edTech habits you want to break this year and with what habits will you replace them? https://t.co/cRgcQKmr3M#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
Q4: Currently working hard to make sure Ss are producers, not consumers as much as possible when using tech. Also, staying focused when online and not getting sucked down the Google rabbit hole. #inelearn
R4: Referencing the SAMR model, I need to stop staying comfortable in the SA steps and incorporate the MR. I also need to stop being a control freak and allow the students more choice and accountability. #INeLearn
A4: It is easy for me to fall back on teaching practices that I am not proud of because I don't want to push people to step out of their comfort zones. Sometimes working w/adults is way harder than students! #INeLearn#schk12#eLeadNWI
R4/A4/Before! - Bad habit would be assuming that my level one of edtech or tech integration is the same as yours. Aligning goals, skills, and how to accomplish them with the same vocabulary/language. True blended learning (define and don't assume)!
#inelearn
R4: I have a bad "Edtech habit" of working with many of the same teachers -- need to reach out and work with those who are not always receptive. #INeLearn
R5: If it isn't being used to enhance the learning experience, it probably can go. Students will tell you what is and isn't working! #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R5: I have become especially appreciative of tech tools that are versatile. Part of the reason the toolbox gets full quickly is tools that really only do 1 or 2 things. That's why I love @goformative . #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
A4: break down the idea that some have that students can figure out how to use technology and that they don’t need to give support in class on how to use it. I argue - even if they know how to use it, they don’t know how you expect them to use it. #INeLearn
Q4: Make changes by changing habits. What are some bad edTech habits you want to break this year and with what habits will you replace them? https://t.co/cRgcQKmr3M#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
Also powerful to put the students in charge of collecting, designing, and reporting the data they generate. #stuvoice mixed with real analytics generates buy-in and useful skills #INeLearn
R4 Relying on software to teach our students. We need to build relationship, patience, and practice. Check out this @NPR article https://t.co/2NZgZFfbEf#inelearn
I do the same. My problem is that if it is that important that someone sends me a message after hours, I should respond promptly. I had a former boss that said “you are a principal 24/7.” I haven’t forgotten this by going back to the classroom. #INeLearn
R5: This one is so tough! I try to invest time and effort into learning new tools each week, but i also try to learn new applications of my “go to” tools. #inelearn
R4 when given the chance to talk TO the students, avoid it and ask questions. Always prefer the experience and the activity over the lecture -- set the stage and then step out of the way. More legos, more cardboard, more tinfoil and never require the homework be done #INeLearn
R5 - Meet with stakeholders to talk about the usefulness of strategies and procedures. If you feel that something can be streamlined or changed, tell someone & make that change. Also, when others have ideas, listen and make the decision that in the best for the school. #inelearn
A5/R5: Being reflective and evaluative is a daily practice for me. If the fruit aren’t there, (after time on task), then perhaps it’s not the thing I need to be using... #INeLearn
The most effective part of the robotics course is asking the students reflective questions that have them describe what they learned in the challenge. Even when the failure was epic, the learning can be profound #INeLearn
R5: Spend time reflecting on what you need and find the tools that serve those purposes. It’s not about eating less, it’s about eating right. Also, I just ate a cookie. #inelearn
R2. Although it can be uncomfortable, starting conversations with people in our buildings that we can learn something from, even if (on the surface) they don’t seem interesting in sharing. Sometime introverts can be misunderstood, but have amazing things to teach us! #INeLearn
R5/A5 - Trial and error partnered with this mantra - grow, reflect, and repeat! We want to encourage risks but have to recognize that not everything will be a homerun. What might be great for me might not be a homerun for you! Genuine growth & not minimal PD effort
#inelearn
R5: I need to cut out in many areas in order to avoid burnout. From an E/LA perspective, essay grading is always a tough balancing act. Focusing on only a few aspects rather than furiously editing and commenting would benefit me. #INeLearn
ha --- the only time i use a folder is if it is a collection to be shared/collaborated. I figure that is why @GoogleForEdu got so good at keyword searching :) #INeLearn
R6: With PLTW, I saw design thinking at its finest and want to push Ss and Ts to really embrace and use that more! Watching Ss create is awesome! #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R6: I used to use GForms all the time. Now I don't. 2018 showed me that just because a tool does what you want, it may not be the best tool for the job so I need to always keep my eyes and ears open to other possibilities. #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
Interestingly, my last newsletter was a description of our redundant tools and a request to help me weed the edtech garden. Great opportunity for feedback and involvement -- and inadvertant "we can do that?!?" :) #INeLearn
R5: I think we need to educate about different models and frameworks out there for evaluating lesson design, not just edtech tools. As much as I love a good tool, sometimes the goal is better accomplished without it. #INeLearn
R6: The high value of Ss voice and choice. I've always prioritized it, but learned deep new meaning for it in 2018. Great growth experience! Teaching is the best job ever because you just continue learning to help your kids continue learning. ☺ #INeLearn
R2. Showing teachers rather than telling is always helpful. I think of it like this... teaching (getting buy-in) from teachers is no different than getting buy-in from students... TEACH THEM THE WHY... SHOW THEM THE RESULTS THEY CAN GET IN 60 DAYS OR LESS! 😜💪🏼 #INeLearn
R6 I learned some great edtech platforms in 2018 like @Seesaw@Flipgrid and @DoInkTweets. It’s neat to see what students and create with these tools. #INeLearn
A6: I learned that a difference or impact can be made in an environment when your actions are intentional. Being reflexive, responsive and relatable. #INeLearn
R6 That I need to relax a little more instead of all go go go. #INeLearn
Thats the biggest thing. The next would be to stop being so technical and break it down better.
A6: Since our district began E-Learning days, I have come to a place where I feel great about implementing them with fidelity. I love creating lessons that would not be able to be duplicated within classroom walls. Also-student choice. #INeLearn
My resolution is to implement my plan with fierce intention. I want to avoid the rabbit holes and clearly stick to my plans in order to safeguard my time.
#inelearn
R6: Plan a good regional event, wink wink SoWeLEAD, and they will come! Teams of students, parent, teachers, and admin planning digcit activities for their buildings! #INeLearn
R6: Sharing and sharing some more! Encouraging others to share thier great work! Also added videos of myself inside of items I made to help with PD on your shoulder since I’m one person covering a district of 10,000 👩🏻💻❤️#INeLearn
R6: I've been listening to a lot more podcasts lately to gain new ideas. Been a guest on a couple as well, and I find I learn quite a bit. Neat experience. #inelearn
R5: I think I focus only on what teachers need at that time. Some tried and true tools I might suggest for one teacher, but newer tools for another depending on the needs of the project. So, I guess not keeping all the tools in my pocket at once helps me slim down? #INeLearn
R6: I need to remember to BE POSITIVE! Not everyone has to like my message or mission! In 2019 I plan to remember that & continue to push bc #kidsdeserveit#schk12#INeLearn#eLeadNWI
trying to shift our podcasting unit out of journalism/newpaper (limited reach) and into #digcit (required course) -- but also need time to build lego Great Ball Contraptions -- so much to do, so little time to care about standardized tests. #INeLearn
R6: I've been listening to a lot more podcasts lately to gain new ideas. Been a guest on a couple as well, and I find I learn quite a bit. Neat experience. #inelearn
A3: Rewarding Teachers with Recognition and Encouragement.
We even created a huge list of teacher incentives, just to get you started.
#inelearnhttps://t.co/CQzMu6zxnU
R7: Have conversations with Ts and especially Ss about the tools and how things went. Having those conversations will help gauge where everyone is! #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
R4 Falling asleep before the #INeLearn chats! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ LOVE THESE SO MUCH! But seriously... being on ANY tech when my kids are present... students or biological. Being PRESENT. It’s hard when you’re obsessed. 🤷🏼♀️
I teach #PLTW. It is always fun and exciting for us. Kids are always pushing each other and me. We've gotten more into learning about assemblies with our LEGO before we build. Been helpful with design thinking. #inelearn
its kind of fun to do. Gives your edge-runners something fun to do that is practical and useful for the entire school. Puts a spin on the tchrs who are seen as "those techy types" - and gives a practical way to organize license renewal discussions #INeLearn
R6: I have learned a ridiculous amount of things this year, I can't fit everything into one Tweet! One thing I'd like to be better at is Google Drawing! I'm going to keep flexing those muscles! #INeLearn
R7: I will document the percentage of increase in usage of data applications and analyze the efficacy in direct proportion with student learning augmentation. #INeLearn
R7: I tend to reflect on where I am during the year via my blog. I like looking back at the things I said I was going to do, and determine if I did them and how well they went #INelearn#eleadnwi
R7: Student feedback is critical and so is reflection. I want to know if the tools we are using are helping or hindering. It really can be as simple as just asking. #inelearn
heh. This is my current calendar -- i fleshed it out a little, but i work in really big units/projects and then fill it in with the #digcit students' help #INeLearn
A7/R7: I find great value in being open to modifying or tweaking the goals. They may shift based on students, access or environment, but understanding the why of edtech can be assessed over time. Was the goal met despite it being achieved in different way? #INeLearn
R7: I have no idea how I/we can accurately measure our EdTech progress! For me, it may boil down to honest convos with teachers and gut feelings. #inelearn
thats our goal. two demos that my 10 year old and i made over break. a list of types of GBC elements and the basic rules. Bought the motors and the baseplates and 20lbs of legos. cannot wait to see a chain of 3 classes worth of marble movers :) #INeLearn
R7: I tend to reflect on where I am during the year via my blog. I like looking back at the things I said I was going to do, and determine if I did them and how well they went #INelearn#eleadnwi
R7: collect and post data. I collect data at multiple times in the year. Attendance and progress data. Is there a correlation between my Ss attending based on activities, and how does this affect the performance? It is posted as a class for all to see. #INeLearn
R7/A7 - Have an accountability system in place. Have goals posted and known. Check progress along the way and always strive for continuous improvement.
#inelearn
Thx. it was a labor of of brainstorming with past and future teachers of the course.
Yeah, the time-suck of intrusions is a source of frustration. I am going to combat it this year by more lead time and student independent work with check-in markers. We'll see #INeLearn
A7/R7 cont’d: When used with students, they can reflect on their process too in order to gain understanding of whether the expected outcome was achieved. #INeLearn
We do a ton of 3D printing with our #pltw program. Really helps students understand concepts like tolerance and how systems work. Best part is how it enhances a pretty robust curriculum. #inelearn
R7: Personally, I need to MAKE time to reflect on my goals. In terms of working with Ts, I need to get back to surveying Ts (formally and informally) about the specific PD and what else they'd like to see. #INeLearn
our 3D printers are getting quite the workout from teachers creating their dream projects and turning them over to our makers to turn into reality. Add AR-sculpting into it and it gets really intense. #INeLearn
R7: I hope to create a more regular schedule for meeting with teachers and setting goals with them...then circling back around to reflect. Their goals are my goals! #INeLearn
CD: I want to work with video apps when we get back. I think our Ss live in that world and we are currently missing that with them! Time to start creating! #INeLearn#eLeadNWI
Cool Down: Especially with midterms coming up for kids, I want to focus on data. Actually I already do this quite a bit in my head instinctively. But I want to be more precise with it. #INeLearn
R7: To keep myself in check, l need to focus on 1 or 2 manageable goals and reflect upon them. Additionally, I always make teaching/organizational goals for the summer, but don't always keep them. I need to work on that. #INeLearn
WU: i think I want to try to do my own AR/VR stuff. There are some rock stars in Indiana that do this and I wanna join in with the fun of this. #INeLearn

Our makerclub worked with an elementary/preschool last year teaching tech skills and #digcit. We used tinkercad to teach the kids how to make their names in a plastic block. (week 1). Then had them work in teams to design "Something that will help your math teacher" #INeLearn
