A2: A group of 2nd grade teacher across our district were on a same committee & COULD NOT QUIT sharing ideas. We decided to meet once a month after school at a bakery to share ideas, try something new, & problem solve. This will be our 4th year! SO FUN! #XPLAP
A2: By discovering ways to integrate and share what I learn from my #PLN. Some things may not be applicable to me, but there's always someone else who may need them. Curate for others and share freely #XPLAP

A2 I like to think my contribution is helping students, staff, etc. not take everything too seriously. Definitely try to do fun staff trophies, start Board Game Clubs for students & take people's minds off the negative aspects of the day. #XPLAP

A2: I often think about the concept of someone being a "value add" I want to make sure people feel that having me be part of something makes a difference. As such, I have always aimed to change the world! Some of my friends are with me on that journey @abmoreno1981#XPLAP
A2: I sit on boards and volunteer in the community I work in. This allows me to know about opportunities for students and to make connections where I can. #XPLAP
Q2- This is HUGE for me this year... We have a number of new staff and I have been at school earlier than ever to support our new people coming in. Helping people set up rooms, computers, and getting a good partnership going with my other 7th grade teacher #xplap#HiveSummit

A2: In terms of adding value, I do this in multiple ways. I created a #GBL game with my students to help number sense. Moreover, the game was eventually shared with other teachers at my school. It then made it's way to other districts. Now, it is crossing state lines! #XPLAP

A3: Goes along with the sharing from before. Many times someone has shared, I've modified and re-shared and heard back from "original author" about integrating those tweeks, which are then tweeked again. Neverending process of improvement/collaborating #XPLAP

A3- I am hoping this year to do more cross curricular units...a big one is to do a full dust bowl simulation where students build houses in my class and simulate a dust storm in science since our units line up fairly well. Also going full in on gamifying should be sweet #XPLAP
