Hi #Read4Fun. Lisa, from Massachusetts. Reading The Book of Essie which is unique and interesting. Also, reading a middle grade novel, Elephant Secret, which is amazing.
A1: One of the best things about summer reading (if you're a teacher) is that if you want to stay up and finish something, you don't have to worry about getting up to go to work in the morning! Finish it when you want! #read4fun
I do the same. During the school year I tend to read things I know I'll like - such as familiar authors. In summer, because I can read more, I'll pick up things that I'm on the fence about and often ending up enjoying it. #read4fun
It was so hot today because there was pretty much zero breeze which is odd for a town by the ocean. I played on the grass courts at the Hall of Fame. #read4fun
A2 I love anything by Sharon Draper (my favorite book - Out of My Mind) and JK Rowling with Harry Potter. I thought I lost a friend when the series ended. #Read4Fun

A2: I think of a beach read as being something more for entertainment than learning. I probably don't highlight or take notes on them very often! #Read4Fun
Thriller and mysteries that you just canāt put down are great for summer! I have a stack I have wanted to get to so maybe I will make a dent in that pile! #Read4Fun
A friend gave it to me a couple of months ago so it is on my list. I have not finished Little Fires Everywhere yet either - I need to read this one first! #Read4Fun
A3: Two of the books on my list are "Perfect", but they have little else in common. Perfect Weapon, Perfect Mother, and Make It Stick (am in online book club for that; fascinating brain research that applies to learning) #Read4Fun
