A2 fear of lost time w a failed project. So little time w Ss, so many amazing ideas to try. What if it wastes a month?
A2: My biggest fear is messing up and not in FAIL sense, but it ruins the Ss and Ts learning completely.
Now we just have to top it for next year!
A2 after the fantastic year I have had reinventing myself and bringing in my passions? NOTHING!

A2 I think it's feeling overwhelmed by so many possible things to try and learn in order to share.

A2: For me, it was others' 20th century mentality throwing massive roadblocks on the road to 21st century opportunities
A2: I want to overcome my fear of using social media with my Ss.
Assessment is a concern for me.
A2 Feeling like I need to watch my back & always cover myself can definitely slow down & impede the creative risks & innovation!
A2 My biggest fear is trying to do too much and running out of time!
A2: Lack of resources. Not a good excuse, however; have to get creative to get kids what they deserve to have
A2: figuring out the logistics, wanting it to work since I have convinced co-teacher to take risk https://t.co/vUsZeUcz3h
Q2: What is the biggest fear/obstacle holding you back from innovating?
A2: Fear of pushing my new teachers too far in their first year. There's a balance between innovation and survival.
this practice has such a positive effect on R'ships with Ss and families.
A2: Risk of failure & the overwhelming-ness that innovation can cause when one doesn't know where to begin https://t.co/7FVK96G07j
Q2: What is the biggest fear/obstacle holding you back from innovating?
A2: mine is the fear of failing.
and that's why they are doing so many amazing things! By the way that outfit never gets old
I totally agree with this statement! Any suggestions for when Ps push back?
A2: Once you realize that your doing what's best for Ss and not necessarily yourself, the obstacles are no longer a worry
A2: I think the biggest obstacle now is time/$. I've got the ideas, I'm all in, now I need to make them happen! :)
A2: sometimes a fear of going it alone keeps me from taking bigger leaps
is awesome, great to go, meet, collab,
have to embrace what we tell Ss about failure 😉
A2 for me usually time. I have ideas for a while, but w/testing, absences, etc, sometimes lack of time
It's never a waste to try new things! Ss learn through the process not just through the successes, IMO

A2: Missing something important going on across the state / nation that our members should be aware of https://t.co/lcRDIkAQCS
Q2: What is the biggest fear/obstacle holding you back from innovating?

A2: their hyper focus on compliance rather than innovation. work in progress

A2 The disapproving eyes and comments when my room is a noisy wreck! Daily! 😬
Q2: Lack of support https://t.co/uUUUUjB1p0
Q2: What is the biggest fear/obstacle holding you back from innovating?
A2 Good or bad, I don't have a lot of fear, but feel fear around me at school. Comes from top. Need to get others to break down walls.
A2 as a first year T, I want to know my innovations are beneficial/ engaging for Ss...still tried but def lots of reflection
It WILL work :) When others see your passion, they'll want to be part of it!
I'm coming to realize failure isn't the end, giving up is.
A2: No fear. But so much seems so good. Difficult to pick & choose direction and not work 24/7.
A2: learning new things and getting out of my comfort zone.
I have had to repeat that to myself a lot this year. Process is the goal...
How many of our "fear" truly come true though?
Q2: I'm always afraid that all Ss won't be able to benefit from innovations b/c of funding, etc.
A2: The biggest fear of innovating for me is to be looking back while charging ahead and see nobody behind me!
Amen!! It was also hard to be thought of as a "rabble-rouser" rather than a "trailblazer!" https://t.co/CYQRImNfDs
A2: sometimes a fear of going it alone keeps me from taking bigger leaps

A2: Misunderstanding mostly, but that doesn't hold me back https://t.co/TEiRLecL1e
Q2: What is the biggest fear/obstacle holding you back from innovating?
This is something I can definitely relate to!
A2-While it doesn't hold me back, rather it isolates me or puts me in an island when you get the alien look, being an island.
Had that for a long time.
Very True..there's no failure in trying only experience gained...oh yeah that's called learning
Matt from IL joining late
A2 Last yr, I felt fearless-my Ss had my back. Now working w/hundreds of Ts/Ss I am affecting more people -at times can feel scarier
Right! Find myself begging to work on x project. Saying ideas out loud help so much.
A2 My biggest obstacle personally is myself! So many great ideas, so little time. I overwhelm myself w/ the new...
Have no fear...FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real. 😊

A3- I listen then try to find a solution or help them reframe it.
Really enjoyed listening to today. One big impact for me was to include my personal interests in my lessons! Felt freedom
a3 Tough to do. Working on staying quiet & then leaving convo or room. Next steps: speaking up positively more often.
A3: Surround myself with positive people. Take time for myself also.
A3: Just walk away. Try to talk to more positive people. Take time to reflect and give myself pep talks and positive reminders.
A3: Avoid the teacher's lounge!
It's not easy! Had to call my self PT (POSITIVE TIM) numerous times knowing what was ahead! https://t.co/Hdr3rGxBYw

A3: Go sit on the rug in a kinder or pre-k class...negativity just evaporates!
A3: remind staff that we need to be solutions oriented, if you are coming w/a problem, also come w/a solution!
A3: "Act as if" principle. I act as if folks r positive & often that's enough to get them there! Start w/ love & respect. It reflects.

A3: if adults are bringing you down...go find some kids to hang out with, they will always lift you up!
Sometimes I feel like I'm alone on the ship. How can we get school leaders on board?
A3: a personal rule: finish any complaint with something to do to improve the situation. Whether my complaint or listening to others.
A3 Shift the focus from what is going RIGHT no matter how small, instead of what is going wrong!
